So we can't get the ending we want after all?

They're both relays. The Citadel links to dark space, where the Reapers live, and it also controls the mass relay network. The Conduit is the little statue and it just links to Ilos.
...so Earth is doubly screwed, I guess.
The Citadel is pretty huge too. So even if there wasn't about to be a super nova on the surface of the earth, the amount of dust kicked up would still probably block out the sun.
Triple screwed, you forget the Charon Relay. Wow we're done.... /sigh

I enjoy the sentiment of that comic but... I guess as a nonbeliever I just can't get into it.
Atheist here, too.
But it's not the belief that's important, rather it's the sentiment.
IMHO at least.

Omg, please...you're making em cry...
All I can remember is Garrus talking about the bar and me thinking "omg, my Shepard is going to die...I'm sorry, Garrus.."
Yeah, that's another great comic.
Those goodbyes were the highlight of the whole game, seriously. It was so sad and well written...Bioware made an awesome job up until that point.
And when Kaidan said "And this is good bye" I cried...probably because I knew there was no way I would see any of them together again (yeah, I had watched the endings online). Thanks, Bioware <_<
I've cried during sad moments in certain videogames... but never as hard as I did with those final moments with your squad and LI.

According to my mom, I used to cry everytime she finished a video game when I was little (not that I remember). But apparently we cried more together during the final moments of ME3...

I bawled like a baby during the good byes, especially the one with Kaidan (he was my Shepard's LI). OK I'll be back over here crying as I hold the line ....

Yeah, the REAL byline was: "Take Earth Back... About 10,000 Years..."SJK93 wrote...
Just noting another thing that bothers me about the ending. So, the Citadel explodes over Earth. Wouldn't that mean that the pieces would eventually fall to the surface of the planet and completely devastate it even further? Seems like it would be a lot worse than any asteroid impact I can imagine. Thoughts?

That is Epic. That is freakin epic. If they actually added that to the ending it would almost make it palatable (minus the blowing up relays and teleporting teammates)

3 Biggest Tearjerking Moments:
3. Thane's death scene
2. Curing the Genophage and Mordin's Death
1. Saying goodbye to Kaidan in London... because I knew the endings and it just broke my heart:crying:

But...but Buffy didn't die...Buffy had a better ending than ME3!
And I didn't like Spike, so...ahm...Angel all the way <3
For all intents and purposes Buffy did indeed die at the end of Season 5, I'm not saying that it's perfect I'm just saying that the reactions and the way Buffy has the voice over of telling them she loves them all and they have to look out for each other ect is valid in the ME universe, I prefer Angel too...but the way Spike reacts to Buffy's death is the way that (in my case) Kaidan should have acted you know?
...Shenko babies...:crying:
off Topic:
Oh Buffy died.. she was clincally dead and buried... Williow broke all types of the magical rules to bring her back because Faith was still in Jail at that point and the only to get another Slayer was to kill Faith. They were not going to do that so Williow started breaking the laws of magically life and death.
On topic: Holding the line... annnoyed as hell at Bioware but holding the line. I have never seen a game developer so disconnected from its fan base.. especially in the age of social media.

I wonder what happens to her after Cerberus attacks the Citadel, it was nice to learn that she's Liara's dad... and in a sense, my "father-in-law"... I already killed my "mother-in-law" way back in ME1...
I hope she got out.
The conversations between her and Liara are heartwarming. I'm glad I got them talking.
I whole heartedly concur, I really liked the part where you're actually getting Liara to go over and talk to Aethyta.
Shep:"That asari over there. That's your father."
Liara: "I know."
Shep: "I never get to surprise you with anything."
Liara: "I'm a good information Broker."
Damn you Liara, just for once, let me surprise you! Maybe if I popped the question, then you'd be surprised! >.< BUT NO BIOWARE HAD TO GO AND RUIN MY CHANCE OF EVER EVEN SEEING YOU AGIN! INSTEAD YOU'RE STRANDED ON SOME ALIEN PLANET, WITH JOKER AND EITHER JAVICK OR GARRUS!! Damn you you BW , why! WHY CAN'T I GET MY SAPPY ENDING WHERE I SETTLE DOWN WITH LIARA AND HAVE AN EXSTENSIVE FAMILY, MOST OF THE CHILDREN BEING ADOPTED WAR TIME ORPHANS OF EVERY SPEICES! :ph34r:Having a family Vacation to see Aunt Tali, and Uncle Garrus, and of course Uncle Wrex, Aunt Baraka, and little cousin Mordin! Damn't I want my gawd damn sappy ending! I DON'T CARE IF I GET CALLED A HOPELESS ROMANTIC! I AM ONE IN REAL LIFE! AND THATS HOW I FEEL MY SHEPARD WOULD BE AS WELL! Despite all of the war that she's been through she would still be just a hopeless romantic with a giant family, all of those little kids, yeah guess what, they don't exsist because of what you've done BW, I hope you're happy with yoursleves, you've ruined the best Space family ever, just by giving me a lousy ending!
Sorry for that... had to get it off my chest... speaking of which I should remove this kitten before she starts to claw me up...
