3 Biggest Tearjerking Moments:
3. Thane's death scene
2. Curing the Genophage and Mordin's Death
1. Saying goodbye to Kaidan in London... because I knew the endings and it just broke my heart:crying:

Those along with Legion's sacrifice :crying:

But I definitely agree, the one that really got me goin' pretty badly was saying goodbye to Kaidan because I also found out about the endings and it just slayed me. I pretty much end up romancing Kaidan in most of my playthroughs.

Kaidan was my Shepard's LI too...I need to go watch youtube videos of that and cry over the ending now...:crying:

One thing that would have made the ending 100X better:

Kaidan searching the rubble for Shepard.  Finding Shepard.  End.

Just noting another thing that bothers me about the ending. So, the Citadel explodes over Earth. Wouldn't that mean that the pieces would eventually fall to the surface of the planet and completely devastate it even further? Seems like it would be a lot worse than any asteroid impact I can imagine. Thoughts?

It's just another case of Implied Holocaust.

I guess it also depends on how far away the Citadel is from Earth's surface. The moon is actually moving away from Earth as we speak rather than towards it. I'm not physicist so all I can do is guess. Just another reason I wouldn't mind seeing a different ending.

Actually I don't remember, was it the Citadel that was a mass relay or the statue?  Either way when it's explodes wouldn't that destroy Earth?  Even a small relay (assuming it's the statue) would cause a mini nova right?.  (I'm not sure, I didn't even know there was an arrival DLC, kicking myself now, because I can't buy it until Bioware makes this right.  hrmph  Image IPB)

I don't think they really went supernova. I think it's more like they overloaded and broke apart.

I think that the fact that you must ASSUME that they don't cause supernova's a big flaw. If you're going to change established lore then you need to say so in the game. As it is, there's is no indication given that you can destroy a mass relay without it going nova.

I fraps'd my playthrough, so I get to cry anytime I want over my own Shepard /sigh... ok That's just wrong.. .so wrong :crying:

I played on the Xbox and I saved everytime there was a big conversation...except my Xbox is home (and I'm at school, so can't play it). I've gotta be happy with youtube videos...

I can't understand how Bioware could ever think this was the right ending. I just...can't. This is SO wrong. :crying:

Yeah, Legion was my fourth... even more so when I got back to the ship and EDI told me he had referred to himself as "I"... I was too busy being emotional to really notice. Made it so much more... amazingly sad. The good type of sad... not like the endings...

Another honorable mention was the speech with Anderson and femShep at TIM dies... but that totally cut out much of the truly heartbreaking lines... and all for the Starchild.

Edit: this is a review on our side.

It was SO satisfying to read that article and see this in particular:

"Is an otherwise excellent experience still excellent when its end is so tragically terrible? The answer to that question is only a matter of personal taste if you’re someone without any."

Until I get an official statement I'll keep holding the line. I doubt they'd make an announcement like that on facebook either, at least not as a means of revealing anything.

EDIT: Post seems to have been deleted, just reinforces my point.
