So after this whole debacle how much pressure do you think is gonna be on the Dragon age team to do things RIGHT!?

*Reading* *Hands script back* "Nope. Go add stuff."

"What? But...but this is like 60 hours of gameplay and dialogue. How much more do you need?"

"Have you seen them out there?" *Pulls back office curtain to reveal horde of angry fans outside Bioware's parking lot.* "Go add to it!"

Haha this made me laugh so much!

Just went up on the FB page:

"We are aware that there are concerns about a recent post from this account regarding the ending of the game. In this post it was stated that at this time we do not have plans to change the ending.

We would like to clarify that we are actively and seriously taking all player feedback into consideration and have ruled nothing out. At this time we are still collecting and considering your feedback and have not made a decision regarding requests to change the ending.

Dude, they don't have a choice anymore.  When we first started, we were the minority, the whiners...the entitled.

A week later...we are the vast majority, with good purpose and valid reason.

Don't be discouraged because its taken them a week or two to make a decision.  This stuff takes time.

I've just gathered opinions from players that just finished ME3 - we've just gained another allies, and their outrage at the finales is greater than mine. And it seems that each day new outraged customers will flow in.

Allow me to quote myself from another topic, just to make sure that people who panicked at the twitter messages read this... This is important:

Hold the line.

The company is measuring response, it's in damage control and assessment. No need to panic. Even if they give a straight out answer like "we're not going to change the endings in any way", that doesn't stop the fight, that doesn't mean that no alternative endings will be seen in the end, when the dust settles and financial raports are made. Remember: this isn't just about our dissatisfaction and theirs oblivious satisfaction with the finale. It's about business. Consumers. Money. Advertising & PR. Units shipped, units sold, units returned, multiplayer games played, survey numbers and statistics. It all counts and the game doesn't stop even when they blow their first "enough is enough" whistles. It will be "enough" when we will be satisfied with the product we've bought. Not a second sooner.

This is a big company with gigantic money flowing from left to right, with its core fanbase - essential to any marketing plans and long-term financial stability - currently in uproar. Public trading means that A LOT of finance advisors and brokers look at each action BW/EA takes and at the reaction to those actions from the general public - and if something goes wrong, they loose money. If they loose money and don't repair the leak - they loose even more money. You would be surprised how much bad reviews at Amazon or other major outlets can cost in the long run.

You may frown at this, but in its core this conflict is about whether your money stays here, or goes elsewhere, whether you help spread the word about BioWare & EA games, or stay the hell away from them. This is the Consumerism 2.0 and it's a battle closely observed not only by the "gaming people" but also by specialists from the money markets & publishing (hence the interest from Forbes and other major news outlets), people who tell other people if it's worth to finance BW and EA projects, if its worth to add those 25% to the game's budget, if it's worth to expand, buy company stock, keep the GAME going.

We fight, because we feel cheated, our experiences shattered, Shepard betrayed - we fight because of our emotions, preferences and opinions, things that may seem abstract, but are actually worth THIS and THIS much in USD. And that's a good thing - because this means that in the long run we cannot simply be ignored. If we are a reasonable force, if we don't just sail away because we get bored, if we remember that we actually are the most important consumer group - we will get what we want, one form or another, sooner or later.

Don't get discouraged. Don't quit. Don't think that you don't matter. And most of all: HOLD THE LINE.

Alright, finally figured out how to activate my account so that I'm able to post. Anyways, finished the game a few days after it was released and have been fallowing this thread from the very beginning. What all of you have done is phenomenal, raising 65k for the Child's Play Charity, calling Bioware on their shenanigans, and all managing to do so in calm and collected manor. I've never seen an internet community, a gaming community at that, keep their cool over something like this. It truly is an awesome thing to see unfold. I was originally going to write a review about the endings and about how they made me rage like no other video game has ever before in the past, but you all have covered those issues in an excellent manor and I don't feel the need to reiterate them. Thank you all for everything you have managed to accomplish, and I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this pans out. Now is there any more space the line for me? And how do I get a hold of one of those awesome Marauder Shields banners?

There is always room on the line friend, the more the merrier. Welcome get your banners here

Just had an interesting conversation with my brother. On his first playthrough he just used the default male Shepard and didn't import his Shepard. He didn't like the ending, he thought it was rushed and poorly done, but he didn't think it was worth all this fuss. Now he just played through with his main Shepard and he told me that the endings feel a lot differently now that it's *his* Shepard experiencing them. He wants us to know that he is supporting us now and will not buy DLC until the endings are fixed. He never posts in forums and asked me to post this for him. So one more for our side.

So just curious did you all sit through the credits? Did anyone get Shep gasping for air as the final scene before the credits? The reason I ask is because there seems to be a lot of Shep is dead and the endings don't make sense going on. Now I agree that the endings are stupid, I choice to destroy the Reapers, the spokey cloaked child said nothing about the Relay's exploding or becoming useless. Although the end of the game was lackluster I am not going to let it take away from the game as a whole. This is one of those times the old adage "Its not about the destination but the journey" really holds up.

Also I am not really sure an ending DLC would accomplish anything, considering the game restarts right before the Cerberus HQ assault. I guess it can be something to just rewrite the code to take you to post ending, or even a separate solution that just gives you a nice little epilogue, which seems to be what most people want.
