I resent that notion *Tries to think on one instance the Space marines have lost to an opposing force.*
Damn...Black Library really needs some new writers

Hehe, I was telling a friend that ending might be how the God-Emperor of Earth was created. I wonder what will happen in WH50K?

Sm battle barge. Comparing to that, sovvy is just a tiny space bug

I think a lone space marine battle barge may have some trouble, but they might be able to pull it off. Now if you put the Imperial Navy against the reapers, I think the reapers would get murdered.

Nah they wouldn't get murdered, they'd just get crushed, litterally, by the billions and billions of Imperial Guard Segmentum command would throw on the problem. That seems to be their MO. Pile enough bodies on it until the problem goes away.

So just curious did you all sit through the credits? Did anyone get Shep gasping for air as the final scene before the credits? The reason I ask is because there seems to be a lot of Shep is dead and the endings don't make sense going on. Now I agree that the endings are stupid, I choice to destroy the Reapers, the spokey cloaked child said nothing about the Relay's exploding or becoming useless. Although the end of the game was lackluster I am not going to let it take away from the game as a whole. This is one of those times the old adage "Its not about the destination but the journey" really holds up.
Also I am not really sure an ending DLC would accomplish anything, considering the game restarts right before the Cerberus HQ assault. I guess it can be something to just rewrite the code to take you to post ending, or even a separate solution that just gives you a nice little epilogue, which seems to be what most people want.
Yeah i sat through the credits and got the "secret ending". Though i cant believe shep would of survived the citadel from imploding and yeah i choose to obliterate the reapers as well because space magic boy pissed me off.

<hugs> Don't give in to despair. I would be -shocked- if they don't change the endings or at least provide a satisfying epilogue. Our voices are too loud and too many to ignore. And they can't risk it. EA won't let them. It may take some time, but it will happen. Just hold on.

Hold strong, it is only a matter of time. They will give us something at this point because they have to, to many people are upset. Now will that be something we all like?
Saddly we have many divisions here
1) Leave the ending group (10%)
2) Explain the ending better group
3) Create a new ending group but keep the same sad overtones.
4) Create a new HAPPIER ending group
Which one of those options offends the least amount of people? That will be what happens.
I personally want #4...

I got the Shepard lives ending. Honestly, it wasnt until I saw the Normandy retreating with my squad on board that I was like "Wait a damn minute!!"
Yes, I still love the series. And I will continue to play it (offline...lol) but I cant bring myself to watch that ending again. I'd rather make it up in my own head.
How sad is that.

I really want the fourth option. My Shep deserves her happy ending. And not on the grave and the memories of the people she hold so dear, but with them, alive.

Just finished. I don't know, I didn't expect the ending to be happy or perfect. I went the middle route and it certainly appeared as if organic life was spared and has a chance to continue. It may be nice to have other options but (and no offense) a lot of this strikes me as our conditioning to always having a perfect and happy ending... and I think that's just as much of a cop-out as anything else.
We're happy to welcome you in our ranks.

I honestly hope they give us a bit of everything...sounds greedy, but would make sense as well. Having the OPTION to have depression and sacrafice as well as sunshine and bunnies would be nice...that's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.
