Basically all of this may be summed up as
1) Give as multiple endings, "good" and "bad", which will depend on our choices throughout the trilogy, will show us consequences of our actions, will not contain sudden out-of-character action and will make some sense. And make war assets be seen fighting reapers in epic battle scenes because right now EMS is nothing more than a bunch of numbers.
2) Nah, there's nothing more really.

This.

This was what was promised. This was what i thought i bought. This is what i expect. Nothing more and nothing less. I expect them to finish the game and turn it into the game they promised and advertised till the very end.

We have suffered enough of those lies. Don't let them get away with another game, or we will have to face a lot more Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 stuff from Bioware. Well, not me, as i won't be a customer anymore, but you know what i mean.

Somewhere we have to draw a line into the sand.

Bwahahahaha!

Yeah, I'm an atheist. But for the sake of the thread, let's take it to PMs if you're so inclined.

The first move is yours, friend. ;)

No, no. No objections to the comment. Just thought it'd be funny given the +2 Renegade I gave you just a little while ago. Accelerated spiral towards the Dark Side and all that...

Words of wisdom from facebook:

Complaining about the ending of mass effect is like complaining about how a relationship goes with someone you like (assuming any of you complaining have ever been in one.) When it ends it ends no ifs ands or buts so try all you want to change it you can't rewrite history so there.

I'll go meditate on this for a while. At least I'll try.

@xenirax that person has been appropriately briefed. They just previously misunderstood the message/situation

Someone's ass is gonna get grilled imo.

You really believe that? They were most likely just testing the waters. If it would have worked they had contined to Ninja delete/hide stuff.

It didn't so now they name an unspecific fallout guy. Poor guy, without any clue and instruction, he was given rights to mod the site. Yeah... as if.

Really, don't buy into that stuff. Its just aimed to get you to be understanding.

You know... "it was that new guys fault" and everyone goes like "Ahh the new guy, well stuff like that happens, lets not be upset about it. He was new after all".

You don't let people unbriefed at sensitive ends of your Online Presence. That stuff doesn't happen in a professional buisness. People either are supervised or trained.

Years ago i worked for AOL, you had to do a trainings course 4 weekend long training course before you even were allowed to even touch official boards. There are no new guys making mistakes!

Gotta disagree. I've been working for ICUC Moderation for nearly a year, and rookie mistakes did happen. What we did when we had a rush period is get people from other teams to help us out. We'd give them the quick version on what's what and we'd all be in constant communication using IRC / Campfire / Google talk. This person posting on #masseffect and the FB page was most likely an employee at Bioware who was just assigned to help out the CM's during the very busy launch window.

Hopefully you'll come to the same conclusion I did: that this so-called pearl of wisdom is just another opinion.

Keep calm and hold the line. :)

So yeah as you can see I'm new, I'm a player from ireland and I had the ending spoiled for me by some idiot.

Anyway a friend of mine told me about all this and I was wondering if there was any perticaular post or stuff I should be looking into?

Also I made this account yesterday and I was told I couldn't post for 24 hours, Is that normal for the fourms?

And lastly, I've a public teamspeak so if anyone want to use that to talk to me about this and get me caught up to speed just let me know.

Welcome to the line, soldier.

We've got plenty of weapons to choose from: a crate of Graal spike throwers just arrived from Tuchanka, and a couple of Phaestrons made their way here from Palaven.

Hold the line!

No, no, no..... I see that the wisdom it contains is way above your level. I bet you've never been in a relationship either.

So don't disturb me as I'm meditating on this passage in particular:

When it ends it ends no ifs ands or buts

Not to mention comparing a relationship with another person to a commodity paid for with money.

Heh, oh how little you know... B)

I've been in relationships before, and while it's true that you can't rewrite history, you can help to shape the future. Sometimes we get so caught up in the past, it's difficult to move on.

Anyway, my apologies for disturbing you.

Independence Day speech. Tweak it in your head a bit and it applies to Reapers. Tweak it again and it fits well with Retake Mass Effect 3.

Stay motivated! Hold the line!

Then here's your task. You will go into the Kokari- wait. Wrong script.

Ahem.

Go and vote on the polls, listen to the forums, tell your friends about it, tell your coworkers about it, tell your boss about it. Spread the word to anyone willing to listen and get them to the line with you.

Very, very appropriate and motivational.

And to think, back in the early 80s Bill Pullman was playing Lonestar in a Mel Brooks parody of Star Wars.

Brings up a good point, too... why the hell do we have to sit through that stupid bodyscanner every single time we run through that room?

Hahaha! and I wondered the same thing, that scanner thing was really annoying and boring, but what the hey...that scanner pales in comparison to the ending.
