So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I'm expecting a super-cheesy 'galaxy screwed, but Earth becomes its new capital' ending.
The concept of a galactic capital is incompatible with any scenario in which the Relays are rendered inoperable. Capital of the Local Cluster? Maybe, but it probably already was in the first place. Society without the relays would be society totally dependent on FTL travel for expansion, so in this ending it would be divided into isolated star clusters until some form of galactic-wide travel or communication could be re-established.
Yeah, sure. I meant that with all the survivors of the 'final battle' now trapped inside the local cluster, the local cluster would be our 'little milky way'.

This might be going on: The people who played it saved their game, and went into the final battle with whatever preparation they had. Then, they kept loading THE SAME SAVEGAME, to see how other options would go.
No wonder we only get variations on the same sort of ending.
The videos have been mined. There are no other endings.
And yet the part that has most of the people here in hysterics (Normandy stranded in every ending), you say is rendered in-game. Isn't it then logical that there are other ending sequences that are rendered in-game?
Seriously, do you have any self-awareness at all?
Because the stranded scene depends on the choices made in game. Who/how appears out of the hatch etc. It's not a cinematic but ingame.
...okay, right. I realize that, but from that, how do you extrapolate that the stranded scene occurs in every iteration of the ending?
Am I crazy or wasn't that what most people were concerned about?
Well it two depend on whether or not humans have glowy eyes.

This is just silly... "leak" vids being just few sec clips from trailers and the few real scenes that don't really prove anything one way or the other. I am disappoint..
Hey GTFO guy, you have a friend!
No you can keep him, you seem just as crazy as that guy.
Cute, I adore it when people who are obviously trying to hide the truth from themselves attack others.
Also, I'd like to know how I'm crazy. Please.
"Hide truth" Hahahah, you have no clear proof, you just have hearsay about people getting something out of datamining/playing. Only reason you believe these is because they have few scenes to show, that don't really reveal anything or point to anything. You're insane, if you are unable to question something that lacks proof.
You're just sad, I am sorry, but really. Who were you trying to sway over with those "leak videos"? Just so sad..
Calling me sad, classy, yvonnebeach.gif.
Sure, I'm willing to admit there's a possibility that the videos aren't true. But you are the one with no evidence, not me. And thus you come out sounding like an insane person, claiming 30 minutes of video is "5 second videos."
You are unable to admit that it's possible that we are right, and we *do* have proof. You are the sad, insane one here.
You're really grasping at straws, did I hurt your feelings? Awwww.... You have a blue barbie as your avvie, so please don't bring up the avatars since you can't beat me in any argument or any contest. My avatar only says, that I enjoy watching beautiful things and instead of generic ME/DAO one, I rather have such thing as my avatar.
I haven't seen any proof, the only ones you linked were just short clips from the trailer. Didn't really see much proof going around in the group either. People just say things are so, because they say so and it's same in this thread.
I rather wait till the game is out and tested it out myself, I am awesome like that.
Haha, I have a headshot of a character I like. You have a full body shot (animated!) of a nearly naked Yvonne. Let's ask Fox News which would be more inappropriate and thus more sexually driven. Seriously, the real world has plenty of beautiful things, that's why I don't see this as necessary.
If you can't find the links to more than 30 minutes of video now in the group, then I can't help you. Seriously, this is ridiculous.
I'm done engaging.

Do you have any idea what self awareness means? Clearly not. Obviously I know that.
You keep ignoring the fact that people have played the game already and have now been utterly vindicated by the leaks today. Yesterday you could deny it. Today you can't. Tank was a tester on the game and played it for months. He's seen every ending and everything he's said matches the videos long before they came out. The flashbacks which are out there now, the colors associated with the endings, everything he's said and everything Xio has said. We now have a guy in the spoiler group that has the PC prereleased and mined the vids. Same thing. So forgive me if I follow parsimony and believe the preponderance of evidence.

You farking kidding me? 5 second videos and one of them even shows the beggining of the demo... REALLY? wheres the video of the Normandy crew stranded on a desertic planet? Wheres the video in which the mass relays get destroyed ? where? the only knew thing is wrex, garrus and liara fighting... and that's not the ending?
You liar. LOL.
BETTER?!
Is that the acutal ingame music playing or just something added by the poster to the otherwise soundless video clip. Either way, it is perfect for the scene.

Added, and it is good. Bioware uses soundless bik files, for some reason, probably to keep sound compression to a minimum and reduce the discernable difference between pre-rendered and in-game renders soundwise...
Now that I think about it, nice touch, Bioware, I have to give you props for that.

It seems there are plenty of people here who would contest the description of the ending as "perfect." I was able to think of an equally plausible alternative "happy" ending in less than five minutes, which retains the bittersweet element because we know society will eventually be destroyed, no matter what.Patriota125 wrote...

I guess what I meant is, is that from the game or not? I should have said I know the in-game vid files are soundless. I was wondering if that was just random music, or if it is actually the music that would play in-game if you get that scene.

So they make new FTL ships with the parts from the old one. The response Element Zero produces when charged with electricity still happens. The Crucible screwed up machinery, it didn't shut off the laws of physics.

Yeh he just posts to troll people less sympathetic to Bioware, but he is hardly on the Bioware ban radar.
Please don't ban me, but you did cross the line Bioware from a edgy dark ending to a "why bother nothing I do matters ending". Maybe a fine line, but I'm in the camp of blah why bother:)
