I see that I'm not the only one watching Buffy trying to overcome this hollowness that ME3 left

I watched Chosen (to remind me what it feels to have closure) and Once More with Feeling (it cheers me up even with all the dark themes).

Also, note that the outcry about the ending is presented as a list of emotional responses that "fans needed" as opposed to being objective feedback from dissatisfied consumers. This strongly communicates immaturity, neediness and entitlement. If you think that's a stretch, look back a couple of sentences and note that those who gave positive, glowing feedback are referred to not as "fans" but as "players" who provided "profound words of appreciation."

Finally, they close by saying that comments from these needy, passionate fans "are equally valid," which creates a "we're so magnanimous that we even care for the emotionally needy" subtext intended to increase the reader's sympathy towards the company and underline the already negative portrait of unhappy customers.

Let's be civil but never forget the nature of the conflict or the weapons in BioWare's arsenal.

You know maybe they should've released it in December.  Christmas might have made a lot of fans more forgiving...holiday spirit you know. And plus Christmas lights...red...blue..green...oooh pretty colors....

He was the Marauder you shoot just before going into the big light tower, he was protecting us from the ending and he is our hero

Just got done with my NG+ and I have to say....It still makes me angry! What a surprise. At least this time I got the 5 second breath scene but I still do not like it. Heres to hoping the ending changes.

Yeah believe me I know how you feel. I've had to scream to the world to get my anger out and boy did they think I was weird! Just kidding, but I have been ranting to my family and such and this fourm has been loads of help with getting over my grief of losing Garrus and not retiring to a tropical place with him and a couple of orphans and the rest of my crew. Hopefully with this war were in we can achieve our goals and Bioware will listen to their loveing customers. I know I wont be leaving the line anytime soon till they do!

The last turien husk you see before entering the beam, he tried to prevent you from seeing the end, he is a hero to us all!

Yeah same here actually, I mean one thing I love about it is that no matter how hard or dark it gets Buffy always wins in the end.

I'm back to hold the line for today.

I've just caught up on the last few pages.

As far as the FTC thing goes, don't worry about that. Like most, I think it's too early for such actions, but it is done now. Let's just wait and see what comes of it and continue on as we are.

I see there has been no news from Bioware - not that I expected any, of course. I continue to live in hope that "No news is good news" but I think that BW/EA is just waiting for us all to get bored and go away.

I think they seriously underestimate our resolve on this matter.

Another quick question, if and indeed when (touch wood) we get the ending we so badly crave, will this be the first time in gaming history when the fans have influenced such a big change in a game after release?

Not precisely, Bethesda changed the ending to Fallout 3 with a DLC.

EA should learn something from CDProjekt Red. They have Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition xbox premiere next month. With longer third act, with more stories, characters and other stuff. And for everyone, who purchased the game on PC, this DLC is for free, so they can have exactly the same game like those who will purchase it soon.
