The ending was Bad because of a Story leak shortly before the ME3 Relase. So they made a crappy one to get more time for a DLC with the True Ending, called The Truth -.-

They have this information from a "insider"

She's listened to me rant about the ending since I finished the game (she has no choice since we're stuck in the mountains together) and has not only been supportive but has told me, more than once, "to hold the line." She's never played Mass Effect and she never will, but she knows how much it means to me.

Also, she just donated to Child's Play.

Sorry but there is no war orphans - people argue mass relays didn't go super nova - but again that completely breaks cannon - since Cid was also a mass relay - We wiped out the fleet......every system around a mass relay -

We became the biggest mass murderer - genocide in any history - possibly even surpasing the Reapers - all because of a lieing god child...........or did we?

That's the problem - its a cliffhanger ending - its what they used to do in the 1930s radio shows like Rockteer; the lone ranger.....etc......but they didn't do it well....
