Meh, there is conflict if Shep is a man. Between Ashley and Tali, I think. :bandit:

Oh, that explains it.
I played as femShep.
I should have known. D:

*sigh of relief.*

I was feeling old here, hehe

But I have 23 and work and go to college. Just get to kill Udina last night. =/

BTW, I really hate that NOBODY talks to me about the attack on Citadel. Only that damn lines. And now, Garrus, with no jealous at all, is happy that Kaidan is back!?

Ooh, I know what you mean.
Cerberus attack? What Cerberus attack?

And that bit about Garrus not being jealous.
It would have been interesting if there was some conflict between possible LIs, maybe.
Kinda like in DA:Origins.

yeah there is it happened to my shep

Who did you romance? Because it seems like many of us with Femsheps have not seen any competition or real conflict.

More 'deep thoughts'. This is a 'reader comment' from the CVG article; provides an enlightened perspective into the issue at hand:

Great, now to get the endings changed to films, and books. In fact, there's been a lot of music I've not liked recently, might start a petition demanding that those artists change their music and release it because I don't like it.Seriously, where do these nimrods get off "demanding" changes. You want to affect the way games are made? GET IN THE F*****G INDUSTRY! Until then can you contain it to whining on message boards about it and writing your own flash fiction. Story writing is not a democracy!I actually hope that if Bioware lower themselves to change the ending, they at least charge ridiculous sums of money to have it available as DLC so these bozos whine and start online petitions about that. F these idiots.I'm not even a fan of Bioware (Mass Effect 1 was one of the worst RPGs I've played, but I really liked the second), but once artists give in to the masses when creating their art, they become "My Family" crud with no substance that panders to the lowest common denominator. And when that happens, well you can bet that I'm gonna take it so serious that I'm going to start my own online petition. That'll show'em!

So I decided to change my bio on my gamertag on xbox live to spread the word alittle bit more to anyone I play with, though I doubt it'll do much since I know not many people actually look at it(only a couple have noticed so far and agreed/joined this/even donated to the charity) this is what I changed it to
"To anyone who may read this that has beaten mass effect 3 and are hurt they ended it like this, you are not alone many feel the same way, please join the retake mass effect 3 movement on bioware social network, facebook, and twitter to support a better ending, come share your story with everyone, have a few laughs along the way, this is the most supportive group of people I've ever seen, we can't let this amazing game go down in flames because of the last 10 minutes in the end, we must hold the line!"

That's nice!
Thank you for doing that.

Anyone else just kinda sick of this at this stage? Are you going to change the endings in any way or are you going to release some DLC about the ending? This whole "we're listening" stuff really isn't an answer to a yes or no question. It's been a solid two weeks of "listening" to nearly everyone in this forum about how bad the endings were. Countless articles have been written about the topic and still nothing.

Oh ye actually wait. You did release a statement and then decided not to run with it. Make up your damn minds.

That's what they want.
To tire us by taking this "inactive stance".

But we know better than that.
We keep at it!

I guess. Finding it harder and harder to keep going. Especially seen as the semesters coming to a close and I still have a tonne of work to do.

 A reminder:

Try to edit your posts so we don't end up with huge quote trees.
They make things harder to read, and are a possible risk to having this thread closed.

I've not given up holding the line, but I will say this: Based on this mornings "miscommunication" fiasco- If they continue telling us that we need to imagine our own endings based on what they gave us then they can imagine me playing their future games while I play other games from other developers.

Still holding the line

Since I need to be polite, I'll just say I'm questioning whether this person has ever played any of the games.
And that's where I'll leave it, haters gonna hate and all that, it's really important not to get into a flame war with people with different opinions.

On a slightly unrelated note, did anyone else get a slight feeling of dread when Vega showed up?

I swear to God, when I saw him, this is what was going through my mind, "Please don't let him be a gay option, please don't let him be a gay option....please don't lump the overly muscled, steroid-injected gym hunk in with us....."

I felt more relieved when I found out he was straight than I think I rightfully should have lol

Ah, I don't know.
I find nothing wrong in having an option, you know?

I admit that I had some conerns about Vega, but he turned out to be really nice.
I like him.

Yeah they said ME1 and ME2 romance will compete for Shepard's attention.

While not stricktly speaking relevant for me (since I always have been and will be a-Garrus-girl), this is just..... Arrrgh, one more thing which indicates either rushing, cutting corners or a complete misunderstanding of the bulk of the fanbase and their psychology. And I'm not sure which option is worse.

Yeah I agonized for ages with my replays to have one pkaythrough romancing Thane, one romancing Garrus and one truly loyal to Kaidan. Do you know how hard it was to go through an entire game and not romance Thane or Garrus?? Then I find out there was no need because if you rmance someone else, no one seems to care much. Well if you're a FemShep like me anyway. Never played Male.

I just hope that ultimately they come to their senses and do the right thing. I think all of us have posed several times what our problems with the ending was so I don't know how much more true data they can be gathering. Just keep staying positive, focused on the task at hand and above all else, hold the line.

Funnily enough I actually LIKED Vega. He seemed more like how I played my Shep back in ME1. He was a bit more muscular than I expected but I didn't really care. I was actually sad he wasn't a LI. I'd have romanced him. :P

Haha, good one. :D

This is what we're here for! The ending should have some blanks to fill in, not be an entirely blank page to be filled out. Mass Effect deserves better!
