I just don't understand how they can sit there and even contemplate this. If you change the endings for us, you gain back hundreds of thousands of loyal fans, and you solidify your reputation as a developer who is willing to go that extra mile for their consumer. Bioware will be seen as a Hero of a company to pretty much everyone! How can you lose?

And if you change nothing? You lose sales. You lose DLC sales, you lose fans, you lose millions of dollars in future prequel content sales, since none of us will buy it knowing it all ends up in the toilet anyway!

As far as I can see it, there is LOTS to gain by working with us, and plenty to lose by ignoring us.

I'd like to propose a new squad, one that consists of multiplayers, I cannot think of a name for them at this time, but it will be a squad that joins our ranks, any multiplayer not satisfied with the SP, please join this squad and our ranks, boycott MP temporally, it's a lot to ask, but the support you provide will go along way to aiding this movement.

So can anyone come up with a name for the MP squad?

While not stricktly speaking relevant for me (since I always have been and will be a-Garrus-girl), this is just..... Arrrgh, one more thing which indicates either rushing, cutting corners or a complete misunderstanding of the bulk of the fanbase and their psychology. And I'm not sure which option is worse.

Yeah, that's kind of true, but you're introduced to Liara early and Tali very late so I shot down Liara ages before I picked up Tali again. Liara seemed kinda upset, but in all honesty what did she expect? Does she think I'm some kind of man-**** that is so grateful for the chance to get a leg over that only comes once every three years that he will sleep with the first girl that come...on....the.....ship.

This is my first time ever posting on the Bioware forums. When ME3 was first released I noticed the dropping metacritic score and started lurking here. I initially thought that posters were overreacting to the ending of the game. I was quick to say my friends that this was simply another case of entitled fans criticizing a story that did not conform to their personal vision for the game.

Damn! I was wrong. I finished this game last night and am even unsure of where to begin to list the endings' problems. I did love the entire game up until meeting the star child, but after that point I'm just frustrated and confused. I completely understand and agree with fan outrage.

While we can all agree that Bioware has control over their artistic product, we can still agree that there are certain works that are just objectively bad. The ME3 ending can now officially join the ranks of the Dungeons & Dragons movie and Catwoman as abjectly unwatchable.

So I guess I'm saying...Bulk88, HOLDING THE LINE!

Now, wait. Do you think it is a good idea to "Boycott" the MP? If we let our people boycott the MP, like not fighting and such, people might get the wrong idea, and strangers who would maybe support us get scared away...

What I would propose is this:
Put [ReME3] in your name. And always when someone asks, explain them what we are, what we fight for. Even in MP, there will be unsatisfied people. So we may get more people. It does not help Bioware in any way to see people play the MP, it is all about sales and income, which looks bad at the moment.

So, if you are "forced" into the MP by your clan, always put this tag in your name and advertise. Not boycott as in "Stand there, do nothing.". It might get people the wrong idea.

For the love of the spirits, man. Let's make sure this thread doesn't get de-railed with homophobic comments of all things. As a gay man, I really don't want my fight to Hold the Line taken out of me because the community chose to act childish in the last minute. That's like the Mass Effect 3 endings in the first place.

You have a habit of taking things the wrong way don't you. You really ought to pay more attention to what is being written. I know exactly what he's on about and understand what he's getting at. Not homophobic at all if you read it carefully.

There was a statement about how nothing would be changed, but it got retracted.

I'm behind you on this one! Listening to the soundtrack now and if nothing else, the game deserves a better ending for the music. My current favourite is An End, Once And For All. Let's see an ending that's worth the beauty of that song!

But if you didn't, by all means, do it.
That helps us a lot!
