Good point. I started watching it b/c I couldn't tell which side he would fall on from the title. Didn't finish it. Don't recommend you give it more hits. Just consider it FYI...QwibQwib wrote...

Don't. You're not missing out on anything. He claims that the fans asking for a better ending think that they own Mass Effect. I kind of stopped paying attention to him after he said that. Got to love people who make a living off being annoying.QwibQwib wrote...

First of all, at least for me this is the one and only true role-playing game. In mass effect your don't take control over a character. You become the main character. Every step of the game you make choices as you would in real life. You make bonds with other characters. Some you hate, some you love. Those emotions are a real deal. Every situations in the game sends shivers down your spine, makes you cry and laugh, makes you despair or roar with anger. When I listen to mass effect music I fell like I'm "there", leading the fleet for the final attack, share intimate moments with Tali or even watch my fellow crew members die.
For someone who didn't get emotional while playing the game it may sound silly or immature. The fact is I am 30 years old and happily married. I probably shouldn't feel like this while playing a game, or maybe i should since Bioware gave us one of the best or the very best gaming experience ever. And then they slaughtered the ending in worst manner possible.
Why did they do it ? No clue. But fighting for the better end is worth every minute you spend on this forum. I am sure we will succeed. Not win but succeed. Bioware is not our enemy. It's a great company that made a bad turn and they will fix it, because up to this moment they always delivered and I'm sure they will continue to do so.
So lets stay civil. stay calm, stay strong and HOLD THAT LINE!!!

Funny I have yet to hear one of my gamer friends defend or like the ending and it is nearly impossible to get all of us to agree on anything...but ME3's endings managed to do it...
That is a very good point. Gamers and especially those of us that go to forums almost NEVER agree with each other about anything. But so many agree these endings were sub par. Just the fact the retake me3 movement has kept strong this long should speak volumes to bioware.
Be polite, be firm and hold the line.

HOLD the Line for Better ending; this is the first time ever I requested such thing from a game producer!
It's not every day or every year that a game is supposed to bring the ending to a trilogie, not just "one" game.
ME3 ending should be the ending of (ME1 + ME2 + ME3).
I'm not one of the ending hater.
i wasn't "WTF ?" while watching the last five minute
I was "... that's it? just that ?"
I think they missed to go deeply in the justification of their endings. I'm one of the guy that liked the "philosophical" approch at the end, but they lacked the key argument to make it stunning.
The star child said "because all creations will rebelle against his creator", i'm not hostile to his idea, so, okay but tell why you are right? NOPE ! no explication, just take it for granted... ah ! it can't work like this, it COULD work but Bioware didn't build any idea to back their claim.
Also, the star child say "this solution is not working anymore, we have to find a new one" .... WHY ? it has worked as intended for so many cycle since millions of year ? why changing your mind now ?
I'm not hostile about star child changing is mind, but give him a real damn good reason ?
Destroy ? why ? if i destroy it's like SC aknoledge his doing was wrong in first place ! but he still is convinced he was right. At least Legion let you choose for him because he said he couldn't reach concensus (but he had a mojority, yet he or they think majority isn't the best solution, totaly awsome and respectable vision because minority isn't sub classed!), so he rely on you, so YHEA ! i belive i had to make the call, i couln't go against Legion way of thinking, he mad his point clear and i respected him with his difference of thinking.
I'm not saying SC says BS, but if you want me to belive he has valide point, please, just give serious good justification, you win if the player belive "DAMN ! he is right, it make sens... it is needed... what do i do now...".
Instead, most of player was "BU***ITS ! you say it but you don't justify it !!! while should i trust a total stranger that wanted to kill me in first place ?" and the player choose whatever he see fit because the SC encounter just made him waste his time because he wasn't convincing at all.
I couldn't believe the ending when I finished the game for the first time. At the begining I was looking for a secret ending, but later I realised this was the worest ending I've ever seen in all my life!
I believe BW didn't really care about the ending most, as they thought most of the players are waiting for MultiPlayer (MP) in ME3. so they try to finish the game ASAP, so they can focus their effort in MP.
BW justification for Reapers harvesting advanced organic life is nano scence, stop other AI from harvesting organic
I didn't like all options at the end because they presented poor ending editing and design. The geth were more than diffenecive AI. They defend themselves when someone attacked them. Quarian shall blame themselves because they didn't try to reach concensus with the geth to get their home plant back. In reality the geth has no issue but their creators where the main cause of the problems. Now, how could AI so dangerous and can harvest all organic life?? The prothean VI protected all Protheans in Ilos and waited until Reapers are gone and it didn't betraied them. Also, it gave guide to Shepard about the Reapers greatest secrect which is the Citedal. Now where is the betryal?? I can't see it coming from both AI & VI. BW failed to bring better cause for Reapers abduction of organic life.
At the end I believe BW and EA are both winners because they are going to release a DLC for $ and fix their mistake, or I will never buy any BW and EA games EVER!!

I'd like to remind folk that sometimes we are going to get people who may attempt to disrupt this movement, but I ask that you treat their opinions with respect, opinions are neither correct or incorrect, they are "opinions", I'd also like to remind folk that it is against forum rules to call "anyone" a troll, no matter how badly they might act, if you have a problem with anyone, report them quietly using the report button or a pm to the moderators, do not engage them.VyseN1 wrote...

Most of these people just stirr up drama because it gets them viewed and noticed.
Every person here knows there is no reason to insult or belittle this movement. This is one of the most important moments in gaming, frankly. I for one will not even give them the time of day. I'm proud to stand up with all of you and fight for what I believe in. We're fighting for the very fate of this entire franchise.
Well he vividly defended the gay relationship options with 2! videos (which counts something in my books) and he was pretty pissed that his inbox was full of people hoping to get his support on the ending issue. So... he is just human cut him some slack. Let him stir up things if he wants to...
but don't feed the troll/ remain civil.

TL;DR2 - We'll be -very- actively looking for feedback on the next DA title, and will be showing the game more than before as it develops
Nice, but if they do not adress us soon, I will not buy any more DA title.

i did not like the 3 ending that you can chose becase any thing you doo he dies and the only diffrent is the bean you enter you see joker and edi when they goo outside the normandy
It's always Joker emerging first, followed by a random team member.
I had Tali exiting the Normandy after Joker.. even though she was in my squad for the final push, and I chose the Kill All Synthetics option...
Honestly, it really doesn't make sense unless it is either a dream sequence brought about by an unconscious Shepard, or it's a view of them crashing on Valhalla/Elysium/Heaven/Paradise or something that basically symbolized them all entering the afterlife rather than just some random planet.

After the article in metro.co. uk about us I managed to speak to BBC.
their technology team interviewed me and promised to do something on their website.
They said that today they are too busy to do it but tomorrow they will get on it and contact bioware for us.
Guy who spoke to me dave lee part of bbc technology news team.
Took my details etc. Lets see.
Trying for more.
That's brilliant, I was wondering why there was very little from the BBC about all of this! It's certainly something that should be better publicized considering the weight of the fnabase behind it.
I'd just say to make sure to use those qutoes from casey and mac in your push. People who don't know Mass Effect probably won't be interested in all the plot holes, but the misleading tone of those statements combined with that youtube video with all the endings (and that priceless A,B,C photo) are some of the strongest arguments you can make.

"Showing" the game sounds really good. Because with Mass Effect 3, they did a lot of "talking" instead, and everyone reading this thread saw where that ended up.
