Hey guys...at least one Bioware dev is learning from this whole ME3 debacle:

Mike Laidlaw ‏ @Mike_Laidlaw
TL;DR2 - We'll be -very- actively looking for feedback on the next DA title, and will be showing the game more than before as it develops

Nice, but if they do not adress us soon, I will not buy any more DA title.

Same here, I just can't chance putting all my faith into a game again, especially from Bioware. I got the N7 collectors edition only to feel like it was such a waste. I love DA but I'm so sorry...I just can't bring myself to do business with this company anymore if they don't at least try to fix the endings.

I'm getting increasingly worried that BW might change the ending instead of expanding on it with a patch or DLC, this would mean that there probably would be no boss fight and just the ending from after TIM dying and the cutscenes being changed.
I'd much rather prefer an expansion of the ending we got (since the only thing that makes sense is indoc. theory which then means that the game didn't really end) instead of them changing the ending and not having coherent post-end DLC. Ofcourse DLC that directly impacts the main story in means of a "true" ending should be free, I'm not saying that I'd prefer to pay out more to coax me out of my fetal position on the bed, just making that clear.

What do you guys think? Change the ending alltogether or expand on it?

@ Holly Conrad, much respect. Takes stones to tell what you think to people who are giving you work.

As much as I don't like saying this if this ending debocle isn't addressed soon, BW might have alienated enough of their fan base to bring the company to its knees. This is an absolute shame because they have made great games over the years. But if this isn't fixed I'm done with BW.

Ha. While sitting here at work in my cube on lunch break, checking out the latest news on the ending fight, I heard two of my coworkers talking, and one of them was saying, "...doesn't take into account your actions at all, and it's like the ending of Deus Ex..."

I poke my head up, say, "Mass Effect 3 ending?" and they both just nod.

It's really is quite amazing, how near universal the disappointment at this ending is.

ME3 is still superior to Skyrim, that's for sure. Skyrim had an ending though...

Pages move so fast haha. Anyway, perhaps this is the Metro article firstarioch was talking about? If this is it, great job! The tone overall is very positive towards our movement.

http://www.metro.co....effect-3-ending

"In the meantime the Retake Mass Effect 3 campaign to have the ending changed has now raised over $66,000, all of which is being given to the Child's Play charity (so BioWare will have to pay to make the changes themselves)."

The more I see 'Hold the Line' I start hearing Mel Gibson in 'Braveheart' screaming to his men 'HOLD! HOLD! NOW!' Totally off topic and out of my system.

Indeed. As sorry as I am, but if this is not adressed, I can simply not believe that Bioware cares about me/us as customers, thus I will not give them my money. Other studios make good games too.

And we are clearly not a minority, we are a majority. In this whole week I have completed the game, I have yet to meet someone who says the endings are "Good." and not full of plot-holes. It is in their best interest to fix it.

Welcome to the frontline, grab a rifle, hold the lin, be civil, and read this: http://www.themetaga...blem-with.html (might help explain some of your frustration).

We are pretty much pressuring BIOWARE atm if you can take the polls flying around here and write them a polite email explaining your grievances.

I think some have already seen this video, but for the others it is definitively worth it. It's a bit long (30min), but it's really interesting, the guy explains what the ME3 story was originally planned to be (dark energy and human reaper), and how he would fix the ending.
His vid really deserves more views, so if you have 30 min to spend, go check it.

Really love this vid so much.  Very much the ending I never knew I always wanted.  It would be so, so wonderful, so fitting, so satisfying.

i have to point something, probably i'm ok with the end of the game, but something is right, the producers are looking for ways to obtain money (such as the online pass, wth with that?) and forgot about some others things that matters. so fight for it, i support that, fight for what you want, we buy lets not make them believe that if they hit it with the first the rest will be just a fun ride, EA & bioware we want quality AND quantity for this kind of game, nothing else

Haha thats funny and sad at the same time. But that so many people  hate the ending means that Bioware really did ruin it. Not often so many people agree on something around here, if ever

LOL I'm getting it on my end too.  I was wearing an N7 shirt and strangers walk up to me at a grocery store and say..."What did you think of that ending!?"

Strangers no more, we are united in this =P  Ha.

just wanted to say thank you guys for putting together an enormous discussion thread that addresses the terrible ending to this wonderful saga in one place.

I really hope we can get BioWare to see the light and make the ending what they promised it to be.

I traded skyrim in to get ME3. Along with GTA4, modern warfare 2, and NFS undercover.

I will say that if the end gets fixed it will be totally worth it, until then ehh...
