I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the mechanics and sales of MP, but you seem to be, perhaps you can help to rally support from them?Sainta117 wrote...
This is useful, but I think it's a tough sell for a lot of people. A more productive argument might be to suggest players simply boycott microtransactions using bioware points. So don't allow them to use the MP game as a revenue stream until they fix the SP game.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

@masseffect ME3 was outstanding, but the ending is unacceptable. When will new content be made available to address this? #RetakeME3

1) Not all dark endings equate to dramatic and memorable. You can still have a sh*tty dark ending.
2) Not all endings need to be dark to be memorable. Only people who can't think up good endings believe so.
Actually I'd like to expand on this, if I can. As a current serving member of the military, with several close friends overseas at this moment, the idea of a story needing to have a dark ending to be worthy and memorable is extremely tasteless to me.
Obviously, sacrifice and pain can truly make a story memorable....but so does courage, integrity and honor. You don't need to be knee deep in death to admire these things.

I hope you all take something away from this.
If nothing else, it shows paid-for industry mouthpieces like G4 and IGN for what they are. If you have a strong position, you really don't need to censor opposing viewpoints... and if you're telling the truth, you don't need to delete proof to the contrary.
As gamers, these sites depend on us giving them hits, giving them viewers, giving them credibility. They've come right out and made it plain: they have none, and they don't care. Don't forget this, whatever happens with ME3. And take any information coming from them in the future, about anything, with a bucket of salt.
I will certainly never bother reading any of their articles ever again.

I'm kinda involuntarily boycotting all games. I was all excited about upcoming Silent Hill HD (it will be released tomorrow), but now I'm suddenly scared that another favorite franchise of mine will be ruined. To quote mr. Hudson here, I'll wait till more players have chance to finish the game. And then decide - to buy it or not based on their opinion.DifferentD17 wrote...

One of the reasons why ME3's ending did not work for me is that it broke the ebb and flow I felt the ME games had.
*snip*
And hell, the first two games ended on positive notes. Not being able to get that positive note at all is really frustrating. I'm not saying that all ME3 has is a happy rainbows and stuff ending, but please, give us the ability to choose that if we want to. ME has always been about choice, so why not let people choose whether they want a bad end, a heroic sacrifice by Shepard, or retirement, old age and a lot of blue kids?
Yup!
We are all made because we were given no choice.
And we were promissed we'd get at least more than one ending (16 they said).
And it doesn't help that the ending"s" leave such sad notes.

Me neither. I just want them to report news, without a bias for or against us. Should be as simple as that.

At first, I was thinking the same thing.
Then I saw the Final Hours of ME3 site, and that idea went right out the window.

Arguably, the time effort and money that went into MP detracted from the budget, time, and team members available to do the ending.

I'd like to remind folk that sometimes we are going to get people who may attempt to disrupt this movement, but I ask that you treat their opinions with respect, opinions are neither correct or incorrect, they are "opinions", I'd also like to remind folk that it is against forum rules to call "anyone" a troll, no matter how badly they might act, if you have a problem with anyone, report them quietly using the report button or a pm to the moderators, do not engage them.Gi-Joe-Ge wrote...

I feel a little empty inside, I don't want to play many games either. What's the point grinding battle by battle. Just to have a very bad ending. I'm afraid other games won't end well now... My fiancee is so sad at the ending of ME3 she doesn't know what to play, all she wants is more ME3.ajunta_ wrote...
