yes indeed. but have you?

I think the expression here is 'you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'

People have been shown the avalible evidence: Script leak, beta tester, early access players, and it's all basically saying the same thing. People now have to draw their own conclusions.

And this is the internet, nobody is ever wrong.

Actually both 'sides' to this have the same inconclusive evidence; they're deducing different things from that.
No one at this point is denying that those cutscenes are real.

I just think they should have gone with safe bioware endings. This was the wrong game series to do this in. It will break the hearts of long term fans and leave mainstream gamers wondering what the point was.

I've been a long term ME fan... For some reason I find the ending(at least that I saw.) to be apporpriate. I'm probably going to be flamed for this, but I believe you cannot win a galatic war without losing so much. It's a risky choice Bioware made. I think it'll pay off in the end. An emotional roller coaster.

I will not deny that the ending is an appropriate one but it should be a choice, among other endings. Everyone shouldn't have the same considering everyone took very different steps to get there. Honestly, I don't think it will pay off. The game isn't even out yet and people are already up in arms, many long term fans. It may have paid off if their other titles(DA2) hadn't left their base with a sour taste in their mouths.

That may be true... While I find it funny that even through all the choices made they are ending it on a depressive note. I am still going to stick to my guns and say, If my Shepard dies, I won't be angered by it, it will be a sad departure for sure but I'm not gonna cancel my pre order just because of a tragic ending...

It's about how the rest of the squad is handled: poorly. That's most people's point of contention.

For some reason I'm still okay with this. Everyone dies it's a great way to end a story. Titanic sort of ended the same way. That movie was criticlly aclaimed. I will be saddened, but not pissed. Unless I'm not understanding in which case someone please fill me in. Although I believe I know the gist of it.

I wish it didn't matter to me, so you're lucky.

It does matter, just not in the sense that I'm offended by it. It's important to me (sense I've invested six years.) I guess I'm a fan of the greek tradegy is all.

Nevermind the beautiful looking epilogue either......which doesn't seem downer at all.

Except when you actually think about the implications of a whole colony springing up from one ship's worth of people.

Which includes a few humans, a smattering of Turian, a dash of Quarian, and a smidge of Krogan. Pretty sure this is not what god intended.

The GTFO guy and yvonnebeach.gif still are.

Perhaps, but visually, it's hard to skew it toward a better ending.

We have it, you just refuse to accept it. Fine, not my problem.

Sure, it's not much, but it's actually something. Just look at the visuals and tell me how to skew it as a happy ending.

There's no krogan on the Normandy. Tali and Garrus would starve (or suicide), and the female crew would become baby machines who would produce offspring that inbreed all to hell because thirty people is not enough to sustain a viable population.

Seriously, do you know how you sound to others? Denying ridiculous amounts of video evidence?

What, someone threw this together in an afternoon?

Yeah... that was very convinving evidence.  Just hopefully not ALL the evidence but seriously, bad things can happen in this game at the end it seems.  It looked pretty darn epic though regardless of the outcome I'll give it that!  heh.

As long as the endings are long (not the short ones that like 3 minutes or so) and fulfilling and apporpriately dramatic that I'm 100 excited for this.

Also the gamestar reviewer said there were interesting scenes after the credits, do we know what they are yet?

A few questions (I mean, I'm honestly asking; no 'rhetorical' questions): Has the beta tester proven that he's had access to the complete game? (all levels, all endings, everything)
Have early-access players played through all possible endings?

I haven't read the leaked script, but people on this board have been saying that the Normandy getting stranded no matter what business was not in that document.

Lots of spoilers on the 3 ways to beat the big bads. I admit all the ending sound like they will leave my saying.........what was the point?

Seeing as this is a spoiler thread, I feel silly, did i miss the obvious reveal among the spoiler controversy. Why are these Reapers doing this every so often, exactly what do they gain? I've heard people say they want order, but really what is it they gain, why do they care, are they on their own or just tools of a much greater race that sends them out to keep us in check.

But really why, it seems such a pointless endeavor. These ending seem bad enough that I am not sure I care to play the game, but if among these bad ending, we never even get a reason behind these Reapers doing what they do, I will definately feel this series was a waste of time.

Have you not seen the 30+ minutes of video evidence? Seriously.

someone tells you about really good book, it's not out yet, he has read it, he warns you about the ending, he says you might not like it, gives you the last two pages in a sealed envelope and leaves.
this is not a matter of right or wrong, it's a simple matter of choice. you either buy (or get it by other means) the book and read it yourself, or you read the last two pages from the envelope which in consequence will shatter the experience forever. i'm not saying i like the endings (i haven's seen them, i burned that enevlope as soon as i received it). my point is, you should be angry at the people that leaked the ending, not EA and not Bioware. But that's just my opinion and i could be wrong.

This will be every Bioware user in a couple of days, unless they liked the ending of course.
