It's true, though, that Bioware doesn't HAVE to make a new ending if they weren't already just trolling us with a fake one already...

...but if they EVER want me to preorder another game from them AGAIN... and not wait until "decent ending confirmed" on the internet... something must be done about this ending. I may not buy another game from them again. What's the point if I'm not going to get a satisfying ending? Someone somewhere is making good RPGs, right? Right? >.>

Also, latest Checkpoint has covered the movement, although seem to be confused about the name. Anyone already registered on LoadingReadyRun point out where we got the name from?

About the IGN-poll: wondering what we would see from IGN if the numbers were turned around. Now they just let it slip down the facebook-page in total silence. Guess it wasnt that interesting after all...

this is so wrong.... "ok **** that poll, wEA just allow opinions wEA like"...

Now hold on, the opinions voiced by the IGN editors is not a reflection on IGN as a whole. It's only a reflection of the people we allow to talk for us in public. That makes everything better right?

i feel cut up and betrayed by the ending... i was kinda hoping there would be a massive battle at the end, you use the super weapon to kill the reapers in the sol system.. and then go system to system with the massive fleet you built killing the reapers one by one until there are none left.
then the galaxy works together to rebuild the damage done or something similar.

Just thought about the matter of relays exploding and if it toasts the systems. Even if it is a different failure, why does the (out of place) Normandy crash from it then, and it looks like it went through a gap in the shock front.

Does EDI appear in the control ending? If so, isn't her consciousness a result of the quantum blue box on the Normandy. You know, the ship you just broke....

Just one more 'wait, what?!' to add to the pile I know, but it had been bugging me.

Im not suree for the control ending, i think you have to have no LI in order for EDI to appear at all.
Adding my two cents.
Waitt... what?
xD Isn't the Normandy EDI? She disconnected or had a very hard time connecting at all to her body when i was on Rannoch. So when you blow up the normandy doesnt that terminate her?
It sounds like it would, ya know if you add it all together.

I took green and let joker and EDI get it on and she was at the ending with joker and I had a LI,

I got enough positive comments about my re-post of the video link that I added it to my sig as well so others may get to enjoy it. It really is 30 minutes well spent.

The part about fighting Harbinger on foot alone is worth a listen. It made me think of the old NES days when the boss was as big as the whole screen and you were this little character down below plugging away at it for what seemed like forever. The good old days of gaming.

This is what I don't think Bioware realizes. They have alienated their fanbase to the point where we don't believe anything they say anymore...

Good luck selling anything in the future when your fanbase sees you a a lier who has a history of letting them down...

Amen.
And, I pray to the Spirits for it to be true.

--Adding to this.
At the end the Stargazer derp person says some thing like "Some of it has been lost. It happened a long long time ago." Implying, that not all that happened in true. Only what they "fantazied" or whatever term you desire, the end.
This new DLC which i've heard has been marked "The Truth" im just adding dots hoping they might paint a picture.
Maybe that is the new "ending" but even if it is.
No Game Company or anyone or any company for ANY reason should ever give us a game that did not represent the series or shove us some thing unfinished and then make us buy the real ending.

Here is another section of the letter I am wondering if I should include.  I'm not certain how others will receive this.  I'm trying to keep humor in the letter as an added hook to keep people reading.  Please tell me what you all think:

snip

To be honest I don't think the graph would be nearly as eloquent a point so I'd leave it out.

Also tacit approval for all my thoughts is given if laid out concisely.

The problem with these FMV sequences is there is no emotional catharsis. A lot of us went into this game expecting Shepard to die, and whilst I wouldn't have a problem being able to avoid that fate, neither should our story, ie. Bioware's and mine, be forced into an unsatisfying and illogical conclusion.

Expecting us to understand that whilst the relays are destroyed but didn't wipe out the Sol system doesn't work because there has been no prior indication that this is true. Re: Arrival DLC.

Expecting us to understand that Joker is all of a sudden just running for the hills doesn't work because there has been NO indication that this would be the case. Re: Start of ME2 and the suicide mission.

Expecting us to understand that all the races stranded in the Sol system will be fine doesn't work because there is no indication that any other planets have been colonised, the quarians and turians can't eat human food and the quarian liveships almost certainly don't have enough spare to feed an entire second species. The krogan are not going to just sit around as they don't appear to have bought females with them, the genophage has just been cured and considering the behaviour of the species in the last two games, and the scarcity of females, societal change CAN NOT be instantaneous. Re: Mars mission, the most likely colonisable planet next to Earth, the love scene with garrus "Don't er... Ingest" and the segregation of camps on Tuchanka in ME2.

These amongst other things have lead us to hope that this is all either a PR stunt or some kind of terrible gaff. With the advertising being craft YOUR story with YOUR shepard, this is way off what we were led to believe would be a fitting conclusion to quite probably the most consistent and well thought out game trilogies I have ever played.

This would not be nearly a passionate movement as it is, if this were the first game or not so well made otherwise. I hope there is more going on here than it seems, but as it stands. There are a lot of customers of your products who feel cheated on whart was promised, and whilst I can understand changes are necessary, no prior indication was given that this would be the case so pretty much all of us here went in expecting a slightly different experience right up to and including the ending.

Thanks,
Pipe 42

xD "Get it on." I love that.
"and I kissed Joker for good luck." she is such an amazing character.
Who was your LI? I always got Garrus and the Prothen to stumble off the ship in mine, no matter the ending. I romanced Garrus and always had EDI and him as my squad. :3 I never saw any ending with EDI so this is very interesting.

Ouch, that's kind of rough.  While I have little respect for EA, my faith is that BioWare will do the right thing by the fans and fix ME:3.

If its going for more than 10 pages, then it gets into spam territory, but for a few comments that only last a few pages is fine.
