Holy 1912 Pages Batman!
Anyways, I just hope BW comes out with SOMETHING to fix/correct/explain these endings.

They put themselves between a rock and a hard place on this one. If they come right out and say, "You're right, the ending isn't what we intended/was rushed etc., then the fans will have definitive proof as consumers that they gave us an incomplete product (the Prothean also comes to mind), the result of which would almost certainly lower EA's stock and the market value of ME3, but might also galvanize them to create a new DLC ending to save themselves from losing further customers.
The other side of the coin is that they could continue to be mum over the possibilities of an DLC Ending, and hope that this all blows over so they continue in whatever new direction they are going. If this is the case, then not only do I want no part in buying their planned DLC (that don't affect the ending, i.e. multiplayer characters) but also will not buy future titles. Their alienation of the consumers also will result in a loss of value, and even of introducing new customers due to word of mouth and gamer reviews that ultimately show dissatisfaction with the companies.
The only upside to the acknowledgement and response to the fans' feedback is that it can restore the faith of the consumers in the companies, and may aide them in escaping this debacle with less damage to their image. That they went through with the endings at all, however, ensure that they won't make it out unscathed.
To the possibility of a (free) DLC ending with the choice that we were promised, and to send off a great trilogy in the way that it deserves, I will hold the line.
Again, ^dis.Totally agree. I mean I'll probably be a DLC wh*** and purchase the dlc if it comes out because I seriously dont want to end this trilogy on that kind of note.
