Venting here is better then trying to smack the God Child around with your pistol only to yell at the screen then blow up in a red, blue, or green explosion.
Holding the Line. :3
Thank you for answering.
I guess all I needed was some understanding.
Well, I'm out for the day, getting some sleepy time.
I'm sure I'll wake up in a better mood.
Let's keep on hold this line, then, shall we?

Because drama is more popular, we've been very well behaved as a movement, that's boring for a story, but it's good for us, so long as we keep it this way their stories will mean nothing in the end.Conspicuous Cake wrote...

On another note, I got my beginners license today! Yay!
30 years old, and just getting it lol. Never needed to try for a license until recently; everywhere I needed and wanted to go was doable via bus...but the last two major jobs I was on were out of town, so I need it now if I intend to do more travelling...which I do.
So if you're ever on a road in Halifax, and you see a care swerving on and off the sidewalk...please, please hope it isn't me >.<
Congratulations!!
You dind't need a car all these years? Where do you live? (there is more than one Halifax in the world...I know, I googled lol)
Congrats! I've let 2 beginners license expire. Driving and I don't get along. May the Space Wizards be ever in your favour.
I wish I lived somewhere that public transportation worked...welcome to the US, where we only use car, car, and car unless you live in NYC or some other cool city. Otherwise, you're stuck driving a car. (No offense to anyone who likes to drive)
Did I mention I don't have a license? <_<

I think some of those people would've been happy with a title card with "The End" on it and called it a masterstroke in modern storytelling. *sigh*
Still holding the line!

I love how all these outlets paint us as whining complainers. Not one of them can adress the blatent problems with this ending, nor do they ever say why the ending is good beyond "It's Bioware's choice" "It's Art" "Deal with it".
If the ending is so great, tell us why.... Oh right none of them can because it is just that awful.

Gotta stay civil, gotta hold the line... Even if they won't be the former.

It's a strange feeling waiting for Bioware to give a definitive answer on this. What's at stake is whether or not I ever buy another one of their products. Two weeks ago I would have thought that was impossible.
I had a SWTOR account, I have bought all of their games since NWN, was hopeful for DA3. Really wanted one of those N7 shirts. Suddenly everything has gone to crap.
SWTOR cancelled, and I will not buy any DLC, Dragon age 3, or gear from the Bioware store unless Bioware commits to fixing the ending. Things have degraded quickly. But I feel ripped off by the 180 this game does in the last 10 minutes. I refuse to let them have another dime from me until they make this right.
If they don't, that's the end of it.
^ This is me right now. Except I wanted a N7 hoodie. And didn't have a SWTOR account (just because I have a mac instead of t a pc, or else I would have had one)

Indeed, and in the end, we are all gaining valuable insight.
Namely, who to trust and who not to trust in the gaming and media worlds.

I hear you, but if we do anything, we'll seem lesser for it. Sadly, this seems to be how it works... They can hammer us all they want and still be considered "in the right", but if we so much as nip back at them, then we'll be the bad guys.
Just gotta keep holding the line... When it all pays off, then we can take comfort that they'll be fading images in the rear view mirror.
