So much has been done by so many people. And everyone has kept so civil, reasoned and passionate. I'm really proud to be a fan of a series that has garnered this kind of mature, creative fanbase.

This game - this trilogy - was brilliant until that glowing kid showed up. It can be again. I'll be here, holding the line. I'll drop some coin into childsplay and keep hoping.

I find it funny some people think the line is weakening. We're getting a lot more attention and BioWare's wallet is getting hurt. The only reason I can imagine people saying that is they don't realize we can't all hang around here saying the same thing every second, i.e. "the ending is terrible for so and so reasons." there is only so much to say about it. Just look at this thread's length for example, or the "Yes we are Listening" thread.

Well you could always escalate since they appear to require a bit of a salmon of sanity (to quote an awesome comment from yesterday).

Find out who the publication's sponsors are, then email them, and tell them your feelings about the publication bashing a segment of society who believes that they should get what they paid for.  Enough people and they'll start yanking sponsorships and bam, you've just made a point no comment ever will, especially being as a comment just means you visited their site and are adding to their hit count which is what advertisers pay for.

I agree that 98% of the game was great, and that the last 15 minutes is like driving a beautiful sports car off of a cliff. The combat is truly entertaining and it's very exciting and not horrible or sucky except for the embarrassing and shocking copout by the writers at the end. You can always tell people that the product is broken and they shouldn't buy it until it is fixed. Nobody likes broken stuff.

Yeah, I already stopped quite a few people at my highschool from buying it. Like around ten, half of which I had already directed towards ME2 a year earlier.

Hi thar. Yes they did. Whether we boycott BioWare in the long run is up to BioWare. Right now we are just concentrating on letting them know a significant amount of people dislike the endings. Some people have boycotted the game and its MP but youy dont have to if you dont want.

Frankly that depends on Bioware's respone. If they show that they listen, that they care about the story's flaws and are willing to address them, I'll give them another chance. If they don't, well I believe for a boycott to work it has to be personal not just because someone else is doing it. I'd boycott them because they'll have lost all the trust I once had in them by their own actions, but each person needs to have a reason of their own to commit to it (even if it's similar to mine).
