So guys, the endings sucked didnt they? Are you people going to boycot Bioware or something? I'm thinking about it myself.

Frankly that depends on Bioware's respone. If they show that they listen, that they care about the story's flaws and are willing to address them, I'll give them another chance. If they don't, well I believe for a boycott to work it has to be personal not just because someone else is doing it. I'd boycott them because they'll have lost all the trust I once had in them by their own actions, but each person needs to have a reason of their own to commit to it (even if it's similar to mine).

Yes, I'm not ready to start a bonfire out of my Mass Effect hoodie and four ME shirts just yet (quivers in sadness hearing the ME1 loading music), but I too am waiting to see if our concerns are addressed and a solution is put into place.

Garrus said: "Yell loud enough and eventually someone will come around to see what all the fuss is about." Ironic how what Bioware wrote for him is now coming back at them in full force :)

according to this article http://news.yahoo.co...-195542082.html

"We also recognize that some of our most passionate fans needed more closure, more answers, and more time to say goodbye to their stories," Hudson added.

does anyone have the original source of that quote?

Yet another brief stint for me comes to an end, i'll be sure to do some more investigation tomorrow, really looking forward to the Vin Diesel and BBC responses, and getting closer to the statement Jess talked of for Wednesday :)

Keep it calm, keep it civil, keep the faith and hold that godamm line as if your life depends on it.

Well you could always escalate since they appear to require a bit of a salmon of sanity (to quote an awesome comment from yesterday).

Find out who the publication's sponsors are, then email them, and tell them your feelings about the publication bashing a segment of society who believes that they should get what they paid for.  Enough people and they'll start yanking sponsorships and bam, you've just made a point no comment ever will, especially being as a comment just means you visited their site and are adding to their hit count which is what advertisers pay for.

We're not a small movement.  We don't need to take it lying down :)

Precisely. In fact a number of people writing to a company which advertises on the site could really do some damage:

"I am writing to you to voice my concern that a company such as yours would affliliate yourselves with a website which obviously supports views against customer satisfaction and takes brand loyalty not only for granted but also as a gift bestowed upon the consumer and not vice versa. If this is truly how you feel then perhaps I will seek your products/services elsewhere"

You get the picture.

Personally I like the salmon of sanity option though.

don't make half arsed ending to your games and treat us like garbage.
I read in Forbes again (love Forbes now) that team behind DragonvaAge 3 is cloesley looking at the endings after this fiasco.

A different Yahoo News Article

That kinda sounds like we may have won... but I doubt Bioware's offical statement would go to Yahoo of all people...

That article appears to take the promise of SP DLC as meaning we won, disregarding the likelihood that said DLC will occur before the ending.

Effective immediately there is a zero tolerance policy on any form of further abuse towards once-loyal Bioware fans, their characters or their desire for Mass Effect 3 closure.
Anyone at Bioware or EA deciding to thumb their nose at their customers, not deciding to honor their right to a proper ending, or falsifying Tali's identity, will be banned from receiving any more money from us without notice and is no longer welcomed in our gaming lives.

Today I read an article about a guy filing a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission. I mean ME3 is a game that disappointed a lot of people. If people start filing things with the feds..**** just got real. I'm eager to hear how this develops.

If the endings do not change, then I personally will not buy a product from them ever again.

I would have to agree with this statement.  I'll probably remove the other BioWare games from my hard drive as well.  DA:O, DA2, ME 1, ME 2, KOTOR.

I figure I'll have The Witcher 3 and Star Craft II: Heart of the Swarm to keep busy instead of BioWare's future offerings.

So did you see that Mass Effect 3 is now 40 bucks on the MS Online store?

It's just as atghunter said. Within ten days, a price drop means retailers are getting nervous about ordering more units. To paraphrase, of course.

Personally I think it's overkill and undermines our position as rational customers complaining.  But hey, he's got a right to his opinion...

Doing stuff like that only serves to make us look bad in the long run.

That's good, about DA3 I mean. They can't keep getting away with crap like this to be honest. and that's not just Bioware I mean all gaming developers, they have all gotten to be so lazy it's like "Ah whatever we will just release it and patch it later".

Sorry that was off topic.

There are steadily more people coming and agreeing with our cause.
Look at the past two days of facebook "likes" on the graph. A steady increase, especially today.

It's too bad the BioWare brand has been pretty much tarnished.  Dragon Age 3 may turn out to be a phenomenal game, but ME 3's ending and BW's hubris has pretty much put it as a huge disadvantage in the marketplace.
