I think the point is that "they" are not some hive mind that made decisions and created content as a single entity. There is a great deal of phenomenal writing, voice acting, music, sound effects, and visual content in ME3 -- and we shouldn't let our praise for that be eclipsed by the issues we've raised with the ending. I have no shortage of anger and frustration myself, but to lay blame in a blanket fashion when indications are that what we got is the result of management-level second-guessing and thrashing, just seems kind of small and mean to me. That's not appeasement, IMO, it's kindness.Spartas Husky wrote...

we should take the opportunity to remind them that this isn't personally directed at them; that our anger is really with the game ending itself, and the false promises that were made in pre-release interviews.
I am sorry to say that is just splitting hairs. Do you blame the bullet for harming a person or the individual firing the weapon?
Do you blame the ink for leaving crappy writting behind, or the failure of the handler at writting?
You can name it what you wish, you can change or try to appease them in an effort to get them on your side. IF it makes you feel better at an already vague opportunity for them to correct their mistake. But the anger is directed at them, even if misguided, your anger is directed at the one using the pen. The one who used the mouse to draw. The one who advertise on a game he or she knew would not deliver at the very end
It is their fault, and the anger is personally directed at them, even if you dont want to admit it.
After all the game didn't write itself and ask the developers for "help" it was their hand who made it great and it was their stupidity that draged it down.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

So did you see that Mass Effect 3 is now 40 bucks on the MS Online store?
It's just as atghunter said. Within ten days, a price drop means retailers are getting nervous about ordering more units. To paraphrase, of course.

Today I read an article about a guy filing a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission. I mean ME3 is a game that disappointed a lot of people. If people start filing things with the feds..**** just got real. I'm eager to hear how this develops.
a lot of people aren't liking that, I myself am someone on the fence about it. To be honest with you guys I'm starting to lose hope. I know we have been trying to be civil towards bioware and for the most part we have but I fee like without more pressure it's not going to happen. That we're only gonna be swept under the rug. It's downright depressing because I love this series so much.

He (I believe) is speaking about F2P games with microtransactions (Literally charging money to reload your weapon), but his philosophy can be seen in ME as well. Invest players into a game series, then after so long find a way to bleed more money out of them.

Its publicity. Just like Garrus said: "Yell loud enough and someone will eventually come to see what all the fuss is about." I just wish playing the waiting game would be easier.

Can we switch our current fight to "Narrative" please?
Oh, right, can't change mid combat. Fair enough.

It's publicity we don't need because the media have been using it to paint us as the bad guys.Geda173 wrote...

The experts have told us that BW's strategy relies on hoping we give up. Look how much we've already accomplished in this short time and our momentum is only growing. As someone else frequently posts, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Feel free to take a break for a bit and recharge. Just stay true to your convictions and believe in yourself/this community and together we will go far.

A F2P FPS where you were charged every time you reload would be stupid. Everyone would run around pistol whipping everyone else and only the rich people would have any power.
Oh, wait, that's basically what they want in real life isn't it.

Well now! My inbox on here just pinged. Guy named Jaric666 just sent me the following link which I just confirmed on Google. Apparently at least one guy has gotten a full refund on Amazon for his opened copy of Mass Effect 3. Well I'm not going to give up my copy just yet, it may become an option if I don't see progress
