Priestly retweeted another "ending is perfect, fans are stupid" article.

Anyone else notice a shift in Bioware's tone over the past 24 hours? This retweet is just the latest example. :-(

He's always come across as cocky and arrogant and right now he's the last person that ought to be.

He should be ashamed.

EA fooled us all and got our money, in the long run they'll still only get richer, but it won't be from another dime out of my pocket, no matter what "bag o goods" they want to try and sell to me now.  I'll use my spare time to inform everyone who might ask me as to what sort of company they are.

Word of mouth can do serious damage, even if it takes time, and being unemployed atm, time is something I have plenty of.

Really Chris?

That's Priestly? o.O
Don't lose sleep over it. We hold the power.

First of all, who the hell does he think he is to call the fans (meaning us) stupid?

That's just another reason for us to be angry at them. This sort of behavior is unacceptable..

So I skipped to read the last bit of the article:

"In the end, I suspect that, deep down, many of those who complain are simply sad that it is over."

NOPE.

I'm quite fine with it being over.  What I'm not fine with is that when something comes to an end, it should MAKE SENSE AND PROVIDE A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT

Just another example on how biased the gaming media is. To them, the companies will always be right, and we (consumers) wrong..

It's interesting to see that most of the sites and articles that support or at least understand our cause, are not gaming sites (such as Forbes) or are just indepent sites that really understand the players demise.

And honestly, right now I couldn't care less about Bioware/EA. They have done nothing to deserve my continuity as a fan nor my loyalty as a consumer.

Either they take action in our favor really soon, or they will forever be remember as the worst company ever in consumer's relation.

/Salute

And still holding the line..

Someone called the ending two years ago.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry really; they gave him exactly what he didn't want.

I'm both laughing and crying, laughing at the absurdity of it and crying at how bad the endings really are...

Laugh, then cry, then laugh, then cry, then laugh! Thats an excerpt of my fight 2 minutes of reading that post!  Laughing right now!

Welcome. Glad to have you with us and next to us. Come inside and have a cup of tea, most of us feel the same way you do. You are in good company.

Wait a minute! I was never offered any tea... I don't drink it, but that's aside the point. And some of you scoundrels have been raiding my chicken wings.

They wouldn't dare. That singular act alone would absolutely destroy them. Regardless of the people behind the charity, it is just plain evil to shut a charity down for any reason, ESPECIALLY when the charity is for children.

Guys we really need to get this metaphorical monkey off our back. You know, the one that keeps telling us were just sad cause the trilogy is over.

GODDAMMIT IM FINE WITH IT. Everything ends. Overall We just want something THAT MAKES SENSE. You wouldnt have this much rage if it made sense. Even if there was still a lack of closure and other lackings.

They're probably being all smug about their success in the N7 multiplayer weekend.

Actually they're probably trying to make each other feel better. Blinders would be pretty typical eyewear in this kind of situation.

After last night, I'm surprised. They had to shut the flood gates and get a mod at 1AM EST after a mispost by an assistant PR.

This. I'd be perfectly fine with Shepard dying if it made sense and it actually meant something. The current ending feels like a slap to the face compared to the rest of the game, which is excellent.

I'm fine with it ending too, especially when I was looking forward to the ending. I was so excited to know all the info about the Reapers and...what did I learn? Nothing. Space Magic!:wizard:
Well, no one would be sad if the ending would have been a good one

Where is it going for $40? I just checked Origin, Amazon, and Gamestop and the price was the same.

Noob question; how do you integrate the fleet banners into a signature? I know where they are, just can't seem to find the damn signature editing options.

Yes. I was actually excited for the end. Sad for this to be Commander Shepard's last game, yes, but excited to finally get to take the Reapers down.

In the end though, beating them the way we did just felt hollow and empty. I felt no sense of acomplishment what-so-ever...

If they did though, can you imagine them trying to PR spin that to explain how "we" were the bad guys in that situation?

"Yeah, those donations were all from terrorists who kill kittens with biological weapons"...........

Sad part is, the ignorant portion of this country would believe them, but we'd always know better.  Image IPB

You are right, the problem is I don't think anyone in Bioware is actually thinking any more. They are just reacting, and poorly. Someone said a few posts ago that tempers are rising and we should keep it cool, and I agree. However, for what I haven see lately, it seems temper in bioware is rising a lot more, and there are storms over their heads.

In times such as these, I wish I was a little fly, so I could see their faces in person and attend their meetings. They cornered themselves badly, and now they are totally clueless. And worst of it all, is that they believe (I don't know how, since it fails all kinds of logic) that they are the ones on the right side, and we are abusing them...

I don' think ever a company in the gaming industry ever faced such an organised movement and with such numbers. We will hold, and we will win. That's no doubt in that. Because, if we lose, they will lose even more.

We may lose the game we love, but they will lose everything. For them is a no-win situation. They just haven't realised it yet.

/Salute

Not to sound cynical but how do we really know that 3 million Brutes were actually killed and Bioware didn't just make up this number.

I hate monkeys. The day of reckoning will come, when those uncouth heathens pay for every turd pitched and every ear or nose bitten!
