So we can't get the ending we want after all?

It's not about the fact it ended, it is about the HOW. People don't like to feel betrayed, you know?
I think that was appropiate...

Welcome. Glad to have you with us and next to us. Come inside and have a cup of tea, most of us feel the same way you do. You are in good company.
Thank you very much and as everyone else is doing I will hold the line as well and hope for a more conclusive ending that isn't vague and shadowed like I am talking to the Architecht in Matrix 2.
I have a feeling you'll get a kick out of this...

Tali's face, the ending, the cutscene with grandpa and little kid....It all indicates that Bioware was running out of time or something and decided to rush it.
Now, why? Were they too busy making Kinetic and multiplayer to focus on the real thing, which is the single player story? Or did they just rushed it?
They knew the Reapers were coming?
But for the record, I for one find Tali's face to be fine. Yes, a truly custom image would have been better, but I would have never known it was a stock retail rehash if not told. Maybe it doesn't feel so bad, because my fantasy bubble got popped at the ending first?
Haha, I didn't really mind Tali's face either...or that might be just because I don't really care about Tali (sorry, Tali lovers)
But the ending...oh yes, that I cared about. After I found out about the ending, everything else was just...pointless.

I don't want to be a d*ck, but I had spent some time on his website a while back, and his comments on 'fanmail' weren't encouraging at all.
We've had a former BioWare designer comment on ME3, which amounted more or less to: "you were supposed to make a computer game, folks, you failed; that ending doesn't work as the ending of a game". But that guy, to my knowledge, had quit quite some time ago. Karpyshyn probably wouldn't 'burn the bridges' as easily.
From what I know of him, he doesn't sound like the nicest person on Bioware. BUT he isn't the whole team, so...still holding the line
It runs in gaming studios lol. A LOT of Type A personalities in the gaming industry, it takes the drive and a touch of ego to put up with the long hours and never pleasing -everyone-. I really hope that they step back for a bit and realize they could come out of this looking amazing if they took the position as an advocate for the community.. if they stay on the "Our ending is art, you just don't understand it" side, especially after having already criticized their own author they hired to write the novels and then changing them, if they ever DO come around everyone will just assume they got muzzled and they'll lose what credibility they had

Its logical there is no response atm. Most of the people who worked on that game are on Vacation. This is normal, cause they work 10-14 hours a day for several months.
So we will here something in about 2 weeks.
I know a graphic Designer from GOTHIC, He told me ,after they finished the game, they had about 6 weeks vacation.

I feel like it is in their best interest to release it. Especially if it's paid; they will make tons of money not only from the DLC itself, but also because ME3 sales will go back to normal (because ppl who didn't want to play will be playing now, with the new and awesome ending)

I don't know about you, but I live in America so I have had zero respect for the media from the beginning. I'm just happy we're getting positive press at all.
However, I did have a high respect for Bioware and its employees and that has taken a significant drop.

Guys, why would Bioware not released an ending DLC? Can someone come up with a reason besides "they don't want to"?

Unfortunately, "they don't want to" is all the reason they need.
They may think that in the long run it won't matter.
And they'll be wrong.
