The mass effect universe isn't simple as well, however they reduced it to 3 options xD.malra wrote...

Looks like bioware have 3 options now:
#1 If they release a PAYED ending related dlc ----------------------------------Gain lots of money/Loose 50% of fanbase loyalty and respect.
#2 If they release a FREE ending related dlc-------------------------------------Losse lots of money/keep 90% of fanbase loyalty and respect.
#3 if they don't release any ending related dlc------------------------------------Don't loose or gain any money/Loose 90% of fanbase loyalty and respect.
so this isn't a simple, cut and dried win/win. and we the consumers are not the only people in the mix. plus, because the polls are less than scientifically accurate they have to be trying to figure out which is going to cost them the least in the long run.

We want to see a product that we, as human beings, as consumers, as fans, and as players can be proud of.
I'm sure they are looking at this, and going: "Who the hell are you to feel PROUD OF something you haven't created?"
And they would be right. I really can't make sense of that line.
We may be proud of ourselves as fans, or whatever, but to be 'proud of' the game itself.....come on....
They themselves have said; we didn't create this by ourselves - the we've cocreated with the fans - if it wasn't for the fans no Liara DLC for ME2 - wasn't for the fans - no Garrus or Tali love interest in ME2......
This is all of our baby -

Eh, no worries. Everything got figured out.
But yeah, three majors...I can barely stomach one!
Reason why I only have 2
but see, all these majors...I haven't been productive ever since ME3 came out, so..Bioware, just give us an answer so I can go back to my normal student life.

Yeah, I've been slacking horribly too. Haven't had any drive to do anything.
If I fail school it's Bioware's fault!

Well, this sucks big time. I want my ME3 endings, not some "Choose a color" travesty. I still believe that the ending is already done and BW is trolling us, achieving their goal of making ME3's ending unforgettable. Of course, this would imply that ME3 is an incomplete product... unless the real endings are already on the hard-copies...

EDIT, by all means create a link to the image.

I don't think opened games are refundable anyhow (are they?).
As I said, I'll just sell mine for $0.01. I know I'll never touch it again.
It is really touch and go with opened games, sometimes it is possible. Like I returned Skyrim opened and played and got a full refund for example. I guess it depends on where you buy it or something.
And yeah lol definitely a memorable birthday present

Oh I am - I even said thank you........we disagree on the ending but agree on ME - right now they are feeling big time heat - specially with Best Buy refunding and now Amazon refunding opened games......
Really both of them are refunding now?

My twitter friend just beat the game and doesn't hate the ending. He is indifferent. Described the ending as unclear but doesn't care if there is a new one or not.
Still haven't found anyone I know who actively likes/loves the ending tho. Meh whatever is the best I could find. Magical unicorn achievement still locked.

I hate posting anything in a forum, but I thought this was worth bringing up.
We've gone through this "cycle" at least once before. The Neverwinter Nights 2 community went through nearly the exact same situation with Bioware. NWN2, a relativeily buggy game (ME3 has its fair share of bugs that reviewers have too easily excused) was delivered with an ending that made almost everything you did meaningless (Look it up). Fans complained and threatened various actions and such, but not much came of it, except some patches to fix bugs. The problem with the ending was not "fixed" until the Mask of the Betrayer expansion came out and extended the story, while explaining what exactly happened to your party members in the OC. Someone could probably dredged some of those old posts up, but Bioware has been down this road before, just never with social media as it is today.
Anyway, I hope they fix it. I suspect they intended some special expansion as DLC or whatever from the beginning. I believe they knew what they were doing with the ending and left the narrative open so they could extend it (not change it), or else they wouldn't have provided the "Breath" ending. But I also think they never expected the outcry over the ending(s) to be so loud. But then again, the ending(s) were terrible, objectively terrible. It's not a matter of taste or preference; there are things technically wrong with the endings as they are now. And it's my opinion that the ending to a work of fiction is at least as important as its beginning, as if the beginning of the Mass Effect saga was as "polarizing" as its current ending, the series would have never seen a sequel.
Hold the line for those who came before and those who will undoubtedly come after.
BW didn't make NWN2 - that was company that grew out of the ashes that was black isle - Obsidain......sadly they do good games but also known for them being buggy as hell.........they are under the claw of Atari
