My twitter friend just beat the game and doesn't hate the ending. He is indifferent. Described the ending as unclear but doesn't care if there is a new one or not.
Still haven't found anyone I know who actively likes/loves the ending tho. Meh whatever is the best I could find. Magical unicorn achievement still locked.

If it makes you feel any better, everyone I know hates it.

FTC'll take a look at it, it's not precedent setting or anything, companies have had to issue refunds and junk in the past.. I remember I got like $5.27 cents from something years ago as part of a 'class action settlement'.. just because I had registered the game on the company's site... I think it was back in the Sierra days.... it was kinda funny because I had never realized the game had advertised something completely different.

Personally I think we can resolve this with Bioware.. I think, in the future, the Marketing guys may want to tone things down, but I don't think anything good would come from complaints/lawsuits..it's not like Bioware would fix it.. they'd just give you your $60 and say "Bye bye" lol

My wife just asked if my space hampster died in the ending (she took a liking to the thing). I thought about it for a minute and realized that I couldn't give her a definite answer due to the plot holes in the endings. I guess this really is "lots of speculation from everyone."

I hope Maurader Shields is looking out for space hampsters as well!

I just spoke to a friend of mine who finally beat the game, and to be perfectly honest, I thought he'd like it since he's a deeply philosophical person.

He hated it, and is upset, but "ces't la vie."

Apparently IGN will be having a livestream discussing the ending with viewers on Friday. In my opinion, I don't think any of us should go and participate (but hey it's your choice if you want to). This reeks of dirty PR tactic.

I think that's highly unlikely, but it's still something you don't want. What we're doing now? It works on coorperate bureaucracies. But government ones? That's a whole new can of worms.

......but there's nothing philosophical about that 'ending'. It's BS. Let's not perpetuate this misconception.

I'm saying this as a doctoral candidate in philosophy.

(one that spends all his time on ME forums rather than.....his dissertation)
