I wonder if they won't just go and say the DLC was very successful in order to demoralize us. People on the movement will feel discouraged because they'll think that they were betrayed from the inside, suspecting their fellow retakers of complaining and announcing boycot but buying the DLC anyway. I mean, there's no way of actually telling how many times the DLC was purchased.

Or maybe it will be some goverment plot against us....nah I'm just kidding lol. Do you really think they would try that? I'm not so sure they would, it seems sort of school yard petty

Also, this.

Hold the line.

25 members :D I kinda feel sorry for the guys, also note that some of the people in the group haven't even played the game. Their just there to defend Biowares "artistic expression"

Don't bother with them, they are making a big enough statement on their own lol!

They did that with DA2 didn't they? Weren't they blowing the sales numbers up to make it seem like they were doing well, when in reality, and it came out later, they were doing poorly?

Hey all. Because my roommate decides to come into the dorm with her boyfriend at 3 AM, I decided it would be better to just leave.
So here I am.
Any news? :)

"Nie podoba ci się zakończenie gry? Pozwij producenta!"
title of an article on one of the largest portal in Poland
Roughly translates to: "You don't like the ending? Sue the producer"
This is what we get for someone being clever :/
The worst thing is that they connect the FTC with BioWare's yesturdays stunt with vanishing post, as if it was fan response to it...

To musiał napisać jakiś głąb :) Best regards for comrade from Polish fleet :)

What if we are just part of some meta-social-gaming experiment that Bioware is pulling off on us, in order for us to vent our opinions with the ending of the game.

This has come up a number of times with a number of opinions on it ... All I'll say is that if it really were an experiment, it would be quite stupid to have let it go this far.

I say eugh! to the enemies, silly people.

Also that article is very good.
(Though is anyone else getting sick of things saying "fans annoyed about the ending to their favourite game" who said Mass Effect was my favourite game? lol)

Yeah, it does sound a bit tinfoilhat-ish, but I always have to remind myself that we're dealing with a professional PR machine here. They won't admit anything, be it lack of success or problems with the ending, unless there is some way to make money or minimize projected loss.

I must admit that I want to be naive in this regard. I want to believe that the people at Bioware genuinley care. But even if that were true, there are EA reps at work here, too, and Bioware can't just say whatever they want. It's also EA's money that's at stake here, after all.

"Then that trickle became a downpour of highly organized, philanthropic tech geeks—who may be redefining the nature of the audience-creator relationship."

Compliments are always nice. I'm curious as to how far the donations will get by April 11

Not enemies, just people who don't share our opinion.

Let's focus on US, and not on others.

Let it be even 200.000 members.

It doesn't make humble request of 60.000 or more members of ReME3 to ADD new endings any less right, does it?

Nope  and it is true 212 people are hardly something to worry about.

Halo already ended. Now its just restarting...

Or at least how that's how I need to view it in the event 343 screws it up...

This is my from of acceptance: apathy.
I'm done. Sorry guys, I held the line with the best of you but I'm no longer willing to continue. I hope you guys get what you're asking for. I really do. The series deserves that much. For me however this is no longer an issue. I may be lost to your cause but Bioware has lost a patron.
At least the kids won out with the charity.

I have high hopes for 343 since I'm a regular on their forums, but you can never be sure with Microsoft I suppose.

I think this is not the case, unless they are stupid: you can read everywhere on the internet that the players find the game really good (and that is the case) until the end. The only problem of this game is the endings that do not provide enough changes from one to another (i.e from happy end to sad end) and the plot holes they leaves.

I totally agree. I would not call them stupid anyway. As I wrote before they are victims of their own success.

Therefore I don't imagine them releasing black PR against ReME3 movement because that just not makes any sense.

It is our money that gives them jobs. I also pray they won't considering adding new endings to the ME 3 as a weakness.

I do not even want them to erase original ending. I'd like to see endings I desired from ME1 (that being reapers destroyed and Ash with my Shepard with bunch of small spectre babies :P )

Guy, you have got a new friend! :wizard:

Welp.

Here I am.  Nothing to do.  Mass Effect 3's terribad endings succeeded in wrecking my drive to play any more video games.  YES, IT WAS SO BAD IN MY OPINION THAT IT EVEN DAMAGES  MY DRIVE TO PLAY ANYTHING.

...

...

...

Nope, still no drive.  I'm beginning to hate Bioware.  I imagined myself playing Mass Effect AT LEAST 3 times.  HA, what a laugh the thought brings me when I think about it after the endings...

"Just started a new play through of the entire trilogy, starting at ME1. Contrary to what a lot of people have been saying, I've been noticing a lot of foreshadowing in the first game (things I didn't remember before) that actually lead quite nicely into how the ending develops in ME3."
quote from facebook of our "enemies"...
My reaction? How is that possible when Karpyshyn said he had completely different idea for the ending :D

Apathy is understandable, but it might just what Bioware is hoping for. We should hold the line.

I am certain that it'll be long run and waiting, but what do we have to loose? It won't get any worse than space magik and ghostly child, but just imagine the feeling we shall have when Bioware listens to our requests. :o

Alright so, as it seems more and more people are losing faith, I've decided to post a pep talk in true Shepard fashion.

Look at what we've accomplished. Countless people across many nations have come together in revolt to the travisty thrust upon us. Silence was never an option as individuals and as a group, our voice carries the weight of tens of thousands.

We have gathered our forces and we have held the line. Even in the face of despair we have held one another steady. Resilience, powered by passion and strength of will shall be the what carries us through to victory. Our battle cry has been heard and with a force that shakes the resolve of those who oppose us and strengthens our own.

We are the fleet. We have gathered and we will not falter. We stand for Shepard just as Shepard stood for us.

We will not fade quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!

Make Shepard proud...make yourselves proud.
