So we can't get the ending we want after all?

The thing Bioware did they just took away something that was dear to me - the joy of playing and exploring.
I won't let them to. I am doing this for myself. I do not want to approach another game (Bioware's or not) with fear that I'll have deal with emotions I had after ME3 ending.
That's why I'll stay. It just costs me my time but it's worth it.

Alright so, as it seems more and more people are losing faith, I've decided to post a pep talk in true Shepard fashion.
Look at what we've accomplished. Countless people across many nations have come together in revolt to the travisty thrust upon us. Silence was never an option as individuals and as a group, our voice carries the weight of tens of thousands.
We have gathered our forces and we have held the line. Even in the face of despair we have held one another steady. Resilience, powered by passion and strength of will shall be the what carries us through to victory. Our battle cry has been heard and with a force that shakes the resolve of those who oppose us and strengthens our own.
We are the fleet. We have gathered and we will not falter. We stand for Shepard just as Shepard stood for us.
We will not fade quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!
Make Shepard proud...make yourselves proud.
Give the man a beerand listen to him !!!
I'm a girl but I'll take that beer
I'm sorry, didn't mean to offend You. Second beer for the mistake
No offense taken Lolz. We're all brothers and sisters here

According to Gamestar, Bioware has stopped the work on the DA2 DLC to concentrate on the future of the franchise... the interesting point is, that they say, they want to hear what the fans think about this and what they wish for the future...
... could it be that they have learned from the Mass Effect 3 debacle?
Logging off but still holding the line.

Nope, still no drive. I'm beginning to hate Bioware. I imagined myself playing Mass Effect AT LEAST 3 times. HA, what a laugh the thought brings me when I think about it after the endings...
I took a week off work in order to play ME3 at least 2 times... Finished the game 6 days ago and I still can't bring myself to play anything :/
Yep, I know how you feel. Still have to do a playthrough with my second commander Shepard, but....What's the point? Everything I do is for naught, and the ending makes absolutely no sense.
Which is why I'm here

I feel your pain. I even downloaded Assassins Creed from PSN (Yes I didn't play it yet) but I just end up turning console off after 10 minutes or so.

Enemies!
Not enemies, just people who don't share our opinion.
Let's focus on US, and not on others.
Agreed not enemies at all people posting their own POV on things which they have a right to. They even note in their group statement. Doesn't seem to be out to encouage our sites and such being trolled and and simple civil request to do the same. I say we leave them be or enage in civil converstation if we do. Do not forget be civil and hold the line.

* They are already feeling the pressure of this, look at the Origins and Xbox pages for sell games, yesterday the cut the prices in half on lots of Bioware EA titels that's crisis management.
*Rumors here and on FB says that game stores will not accept more returns of the ME 3 because so many returend their copies already.
* This thread have inspired people who never been very active or even had an account on these forums to speak their mind and to join in this protest.
That is what we have accomplished, that is why we keep holding the line so that eventually BW/EA will listened and give us the product we were promised!
Remember to kepp it polite, but never stop holding the line!

1) Ignore
2) Incite fans and call them rabid whiners
3) Belittle them like Truffle (Christina Norman) does by posting stupid comics which depict us as stupid people. According to her we are asking Ice Cream Banana Reaper endings.
4) Tell people we are human and tired. Shut up and take pity on us (Like Jarett Lee does). Actually they are paid to get tired. They displeased us. They should spend effort to please us. Why? Because we pay and because we are prospective customers. Marketing guys know this very well.
5) Tell people we are listening but don't promise anything (like Casey Hudson does).
Bottom line this is an attrition war. They will ignore us in the hope that we just give up and say hey I have a real life, why bother?
But if we don't give up, be polite and civil and ridicule them while they are trying to do the same thing to us and if in the end their sales (retailers, digital) will be seriously hurt, then they will take us seriously.
Also remember Bioware statements are made by EA's public relations company. Nothing Hudson says is his own words. We are dealing with pros and crowd control here.
Gave the same message:
1) Bioware promised us that our choices in ME games would matter at the end. They don't. Our choices don't change the ending.
2) We do not ask sunshine and bunny endings. We ask relevant endings which bring emotional and narrative resolution to ME trilogy. Current endings are contrived, irrelevant, ambiguous, inconclusive.
3) We are paying customers. Bioware will decide how to make games but EA should understand that we customers decide whether we like them and buy them. Upsetting fan base is not good business.
4) Bioware should stop telling us you do not understand the endings, we have reasons. We don't care your reasons. We as customers are displeased of the end product. We ask you change it. Yes of course we are entitled. We pay money.
Give them the same messages over and over. This process will take months. Don't give up, use Twitter and Facebook. Repeat same messages regularly so Google searches will show our complaints first not their paid pro review news.
Hold the line!

This is pretty darn awesome. The 'Retake Mass Effect' group now have their own war assets page. You report in, state where your from and 'join' as a particular war asset. For example 'Adelaide Infiltrators Squad'. It's a fun way to put your feelings out there.

Signs you mean?
No. War of the Worlds by HG Wells. The Martians leave earth at the end of the book because of bacteria. Analogous to Reapers retreating because of something that seems similarly benign; water.

And it's actually a pretty good game :/
The Dragon Age team was kinda smart to appear now and officially say that no, there won't be any more content for DA2 (I'm pretty sad about this), but players should start discussing what they'd like to see in the next game, because they listen!
