I feel sad for my friend. He's such a sci-fi fan and he ordered the collector's edition of ME3 (even having it shipped over from the states). idk what to tell him. u_u;

Yet another Finn (hei vaan te muut) joining the fight. This is probably my third post ever, since I'm usually running on stealth mode around here, but for such a good cause even small actions may make a difference. Hopefully this will also prompt me towards a more active role, forum-wise. You guys are the best!

Indeed, let's hold that line!

A lot of people have said its ruined the franchise and stopped you gaming for however many days. I'm wondering what else are you doing with your time apart from F5ing the threads?

Are you still gaming?
Or reading books more?
Or focusing on work?

I just want to see how people are coping with it?

Just read a great document on the indoctrination theory. Man, I'd both love and hate it if it were true. I'd love it because it'd be one of the best twists ever. Hate it because they'd probably expect me to pay for a real ending and I'm not partial to buying my endings after I already paid for the full game.

Personally i rather doubt there is any truth to it. And even if there is and they then put out a nonfree dlc we are entering really shady territory. Basically by allowing that its ok to put out a game at full price that is not complete and thus outright lying to ones customers.

European rules don't allow that (someone have sayd that a lot of pages ago, don't know how many pages). You cannot sell a not complete software it seems, i really don't know about it. Italian rules are a lot...  dispersive ? (To use some candy)

I wonder how long it will be before someone makes a 'reaction' video with Pyramid Head now, if it isn't already out there somewhere.

I've been playing the multiplayer and ignoring that the ending ever happened. Refuse to take another character through. Other than that, I've been working on a Mass Effect table top RPG... if Bioware won't give me the ending I want, I'll make my own, darn it!

I can't play any games, it just depresses me.
I might start reading the second Game of Thrones book since I haven't read it yet
I don't have a job sadly, I constantly look but well it's hard.

All I'm doing is watching Buffy and F5'ing the threads lol.

Oh on another note I am also boring my best friend to death with ME3 ending rants, even though she is not a gamer.

I honestly have not been gaming much since the end which is odd for me and sad since I'm an advent gamer. I have been trying to focus on my classes and work yet somehow as I do I tend to think back to "I wonder if there is any new info on the fourms?" or "I hope Bioware says something today..." So yeah, this has been a pretty big blow in my daily activities but I certainly find following this thread a big help.

I'm an avid reader when I'm not playing video games... and I'm unemployed at the moment... However in answer to your questions... I'm actually replaying the game.... 4th time through almost on 5th.... sadly.... Whenever I try and pick up and play another game, I feel this sense of overwhelming despair start to creep over me.... which is odd since it should be happening when I'm playing ME3 right? Right?!? I mean I haven't lost my mind have I? :crying:

The only part of ME3 I can play is multiplayer, but even that's starting to feel pointless. Maybe this was EA's whole strategy... ruin the ending so a lot of the fans are upset and then in the next game, we'll get a 5 hours story and the rest of the game will by multiplayer, just like a Battlefield or CoD game!

Except for 1 thing. Not everyone play MP. I mean surely I am not the only person here who can't stand MP?

well I can stand it (also I am still against MP - because it is unneded and cost time they could have used for something else...better endings anyone? :?)

but:

i do not play it, as IMHO it is pointless (!) - just for a 4 seconds (or less - i don't care) scene with a pretty damaged sheppard taking a breath and nothing else happening?...sorry, but NO WAY!

it does not make the game offer me another ending etc. so it is just not worth it (even more as i hate being forced to play multiplayer (!) - it is a single-player game, so why? - i guess to appeal to some of the multiplayer only crowd (or: more multi- then singleplayer)....)

greetings LAX
ps: i hope the line holds, with this refund offer! (IMHO that one is a dirty trick and a cheap shot - IMHO this tells me they do not want to fix it, if they have to go this way!)

I tried to finish my MShep playthrough and wound up making a whole new FemShep. Garrus is the only  thing keeping me going now.

I want to game, but I find it very difficult to bring myself to do so. Not just ME3, any game. I spend a lot of time on here, trying to keep spirits up. I've written a few online journal entries, made some images and written to The Times.

Aside from that I'm maintaining a twitter identity for the sake of humour and reading a series of fantasy books by author Steven Brust (American-Hungarian) that always boosts my spirits. I'm out of work due to mental health issues so I have quite a bit of free time.

As someone who has been around since near the beginning of the movement (though admittedly haven't posted as much as a lot of others, but I've been following daily through multiple tabs), may I say just how it still boggles my mind that people that can put much thought into the small details of this game, such as:

- leaves falling from a tree in the embassy
- flushable toilet in Shepard's cabin in the Normandy
- countless other things I can't remember currently

... how they could so utterly drop the ball in the last few minutes of the game.

I'm still holding out hope for some ending DLC, though I don't actively count on it. And even though I've said I'd pay for it (I'm a sheep and I know it :/ ), it should be free. Why should we pay for an ending that should have been included with the game?

To those not playing SP but playing MP:

It's 100% your choice what to do with your game. If you want BW to notice that something needs to be done I would respectfully ask not to play either SP or MP. The more people that play either SP or MP that BW sees means that there's just a little less chance that they will feel the "need" to do something about the endings.

In no way do I want you to consider this an attack. We all want the same things but simply may not always agree on how to achieve it.
