Basically as you said, just sat here reading/working while hammering the F5 button, although a couple of times I've been forced away to play minecraft with friends, at least then there's about 10 extra pages to slowly go through once I'm finishedTeleraine wrote...
A lot of people have said its ruined the franchise and stopped you gaming for however many days. I'm wondering what else are you doing with your time apart from F5ing the threads?
Are you still gaming?
Or reading books more?
Or focusing on work?
I just want to see how people are coping with it?

Stll Gaming, mostly Minecraft
No I lied, I'm not going to let ME3s ending ruin the Minecraft server my friends play on. Right now I'm farming blaze rods and Ghast tears.
I tried to start a new playthrough to get the breathing ending but there's no real drive so its very slow progress and I'm easily distracted by games I know won't disappoint me. I read books about the same, focus n my job about the same and wait for my college class to start. I need to log in to TOR and explain to the guild I run why I'm not around as much. I don't know if at the point yet of swearing off anything by EA, I think whatever their ultimate reaction in the end is will sway me.

Maybe I am the only one *sigh*
You are not the only one! I hate MP too. And because of what it did on ME3 I hate it even more now...

My experience was that the combat system and mechanics were pretty good, but I couldn't get myself involved in the story since most of the quests were MMO style "Collect so many pelts for me!" I ended up blitzing the story and faction quests and haven't really played it sincevpalma wrote...

btw , one of the biggest german Gaming magazines made a poll about Mass Effect3. They came to the conclusion, that the ending isnt good enough for such a trioligy.

Yep a few people have said they don't like it or play which makes me feel a bit better. I was starting to think I was an outsider in regards to MP Lol

What book are you reading? I´ve finished with all I have and the ones I am waiting for haven't been released yet...
Any suggestions?

"Resurrection" by Arwen Elys Dayton - had good opinions on amazon.
but if you want something tried and tested go for "Revelation Space" by Alastair Reynolds. It starts one of the best series I've ever read, and i read a lot.

I have. Storywise, it starts out with a good premise but, the ending does feel a little sudden. Like. One second all the focus is on THIS GUY http://www.eliteguia.../gadflow_4.jpg
and then we realize we should have been focusing on
http://images2.wikia...0px-Tirnoch.jpg
Whatever that thing is.
Its not NEARLY as rushed as ME3's ending but to get the most "satisfaction" out of the game one should intermediate between doing the main quest and side faction quests, otherwise the story just flies by.
As for the Gameplay, its interesting and flexible as hell. Not like Skyrim where if you don't plan out your character from start to finish you'll find yourself in a ****load of trouble mid to late game

Yup, played it through and did pretty much everything you could in the game. The game has a really nice world / creatures in it but the combat system is what really sets it appart. The story at least in my oppinion doesn't deliver I am affraid. In many cases I was just told to go here or there but I really didn't get any valid or interesting reasons or WHY to do things and the dialogue with the core npc's is really lacking. It seemed in many points like the story and things were rushed. Only the main guild / faction quests plus the main story line had any real writing or story involved, all the smaller quests just feel like mindless MMO stuff.
So, to cut things short: If you can find it with a good discount, give it a go, but as a full priced product I would not bother.
