So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I'm impressed the BBC picked this up. Definitely a good sign.
Also, this has to officially be the longest thread ever on BSN. Page 2000, is right around the corner!
I have no wrods to describe my reaction to that number...

Are you still gaming?
Or reading books more?
Or focusing on work?
I must consider myself lucky for being able to do something completely different (running from one job interview to another) and not dwell on depression that's - let's face it - seems to be a common side effect. The problem is that I finished Skyrim, with a fine 150 hrs total of playtime, ONLY to make time for the next big title (it's been a fine year for us rpg-lovers thus far), so there really isn't much to do in that respect. Plus, being a pc-gamer through and through I had the pleasure of playing Geralt's adventures vol 2 last summer... So nothing remotely interesting available, sadly.
Books? What are those? Oh, those things I tossed aside to make time for gaming. I need to reconsider if there're any good reads. Meh.

Erm, could anyone tell me what I missed in this regard?
And yes, I still find it hard to believe that anyone in Bioware seriously thought the ending was a good thing to just leave as is.
Biowares ME FB page posted that they werent going to change the ending at all and that they were standing by it. The following day they posted that they effectively didn't mean the post and that they were listening to the fans and discussing their options internally as to what to do. They also said that they would talk to us eventually, once more people had a chance to reach the end of the game.

I was following it here. The graph has some good interactivity.
More interactivity than the ME3 ending in fact.

I actually thought it was quite shorter compared to ME2. I mean, the main quests were longer, but the side quests were almost nonexistent, because all you had to do was scan some planets, get the thing, and take it to the person on the Citadel.

Hey just a thought. Since we're hitting the news, maybe we should coordinate more on what we want to say? Just so we can maintain consistency. The BBC article was a success (thanks firstarioch!) but I think we should also include that the ending just didn't make sense and was so out of place - not just that we want a happier ending. But that we want more choices for endings as promised to us. I just think that not everyone in the Retake movement wants just a happy ending - but simply more choices to choose from.
How about we say this:
"The Retake ME3 movement is asking BioWare to add multiple, radically different endings to ME3 that take choices the player made throughout the series into account. Before the game's release BioWare promised us 16 radically different endings that took previous player choices into account. These endings would range from a minorly sad, yet happy ending to having the Reapers (the main antagonists) win. The final product does not contain any of this. Furthermore, it has no resolution and has lore inconsistencies. RetakeME3 is asking BioWare to fix these issues and live up to the promises many of us bought the game on. We are also aware that there are some people who enjoy the endings as is. We do not want to tread upon their enjoyment of the series, therefore we ask that if BioWare does fix the endings they release the fix as an optional DLC."
Feel free to add anything. I'm sure I didn't properly address all of our grievances.

Of course. I would certainly also contact the more magazin like things, with the new month just around the corner. Thing is, as I did not invest much time into reading "Game magazines" I do not know how are big at the moment.
Can you send me a few links per Personal Message?

This is also bugging me. My CE (So with From Ashes.) has 12,5 gb, which means without it around 11,6 gb. But it clearly says on the cover 15(!) GB. One said for "Backups" but to have 3,5 gb as backup seems not possible.
