I'd heard the BBC had spoken to someone, but wasn't sure where to find it. This is amazing news. You do not get bigger than the BBC over here. Now that they're aware of the story, we can continue to push and, with a bit of luck, they could put it on one of their various tech programmes.

No Bioware, you are the fail! Oh man that's a hell of a way to start the day. Bahahahahahahaha.. Oh man.. And we might be getting Vin Diesel in on this as well. Oh this just keeps getting better!

Hold the line!

I don't like the terms win and lose here. We are not trying to win anything. We just want an ending that is fitting for such an awesome universe. I paid $80 for a complete game. I didn't pay that money to "use my imagination" and if I did, well, honestly, me and Miranda never leave the Normandy so the universe is effed either way I suppose.

Okay so my game professor went to GDC, and Bioware had a session where they talked about story writing......

My professor thinks they need to watch their own session to fix the ME3 ending. He played the game and even he thought that they "uterly failed".

Told them about us, aparently I'm the only member of our movement who's in the class. Trying to get them to come and join the line. But they do support what we are doing and agree with us.

Holding the line.

True I will hold the line till the day I die if I have to. But Bioware cannot simply wait us out any longer. The simple truth is that all of us dearly love ME and if it weren't for the pure joy we have received from 99.9% of this game trilogy this protest would be a soft whimper that would've died out quietly in the first week after the game's release. What we are witnessing now is real fan outrage, a passion that has lead to a true impact. We as gamers are in a symbiotic relationship with Bioware, if they fail we don't get their amazing games, if we don't buy their products and tarnish their name then they fail.

You can also get a full refund straight from EA if you purchased through origin.  Just have to quote your state refund laws.  Saw somebody on /r/masseffect do that.

Deep inside I still want to believe that BW planned this.

Indoctrination makes most sense, FAR more sense than the current endings, unless they disregard everything from ME1, ME2 and ME3 (up to the end)), disregard the Codex, every dialogue you had. Everything points to indoctrination and it would be EPIC if it turned out to be true - Shep fights off indoctrination, gets up and starts kicking ass + lives happily ever after (they build a bigger Statue in Citadel, that overshadows the Krogan Statue).

God that would be awesome :crying: but...... they just don't talk. They are just like machine aknowleadging but never answering anything :alien:

no it wouldn't be epic... it'd just be lame.

I think indoctrination theory being proven as accurate would be pretty damn awesome. Shep fights it off, rallies the fleet and epic space battle, defeat of the reapers doesn't really sound lame to me.

If the game we got continued on from that intake of breath amongst the rubble to a costly but decisive victory, I'm pretty sure everyone here would be singing BWs praises for the clever tactic of destroying our hope only to, at the last minute, bring it all back again. The deeply psychological aspects of the concept would definitely go down in history as one of the greats.

I know it's just my opinion but saying that ending is lame doesn't leave us with much else apart from acceptance of space magic which, to me, is lamer.

Or are you saying it's lame of bioware to withold that ending as a Marketing ploy?

I mean it would be lame not to include it in the game already. yes it'd be epic, my heart would be RACING after such depressing "first ending" to begin with but now... it would seem like an act of desesperation. I don't know, just going "hey it was a joke here's the real ending" doesn't sit fine with me.

Russian fleet keeps holding the line.

Don't know if this was already published here or not:

UK Top 40: FIFA Street boots Mass Effect 3 off top spot

UK Video game chart: FIFA Street scores a No1

The last one mentions that "Mass Effect 3 slips to No.2 with a 74 per cent drop in sales, followed by SSX and FIFA 12. Mario Party 9 holds at No.5."

That's what happens when customers and fans are not happy with the endings. I'm sure that our activities in #RetakeMassEffect movement made a difference here as well.

Hold the line!  I'm pretty sure that we're close to our victory, and we will get what we (customers) want - endings which make sense.

Bioware~ EA~ Money is flying away~

Not to mention future revenue from those of us who will never buy your products new again~

You know, I just realized something. Mail is slow. All those letters we sent over the weekend? Still in transit, especially since there's no postal service on weekends in Canada.

Bioware is going to get a metric crapload of mail over the next few days. We haven't seen the response to that, yet, since they haven't received any of it yet.

Ha I just killed a Gamestop employee at our local store with the indoc theory. He never heard of it. And as I started pointing out al the plotholes and logical mistakes I think he was about to cry ;-)

As I read it it feels kind of disturbing that this was that much fun for me! ;-) But man that's all I've got! Hold the line!
