So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I know that there are many who hate facebook with a passion, and I'm indeed one of those people. But I got myself a dummy account just for these polls. May I humbly suggest that you do the same? : )

Is anyone else a little concerned that if Bioware does change the ending, they may still screw it up? Or that, if we hit Bioware too hard, EA may simply decide to cut their losses and abandon Mass Effect altogether? Meaning that there would be no ending fix?
Maybe I'm just crazy, but I see those as potential unintended outcomes of all this.
If EA would do that, they would be the dumbest people on earth. Also somebody on another forum was concerned EA would maybe kill of Bioware if this would be going on for too long. I think that wouldn´t happen too.
Because EA knows what many people think of them, and that a lot of these people are just buying Games with their Logo on it, because it´s Games from Bioware (at least I think that´s the case, because all People I know are thinking that way).
I for example have just EA Games at home, that are from the Time Bioware was already in. If Bioware gets screwed, I personally have no more interest in Products of EA, as I have no interest in Blizzard Games since WoW and that **** they did with Starcraft 2 (you know, just having the Human Campaign in it to strech Starcraft 2 like a milk Cow
But never the less: Hold the Line!

Is anyone starting to have nightmares related to this?
I actually had two, one was the standard Bioware tells us to go....well read vgcatz to sum it up.
The other one was weirder. I apparently posted something here that was really embarrising (I can't remember what, if I even knew what in the dream), and was trying to make people forget about it but they just kept on quoting me...
Even my subconcious is ultraserious about this it seems.

Guys what is with this 'Bioware support group' that BBC mentionbed? It's great how quickly you get stabbed in the back by people finding themselves cool for 'trolling' others.
As I can't access the page without a Facebook account, why the hell do these people support the catastrophe caused by EA and Bioware?
dont worry theres not even 400 people in that group as opposed to the tens of thousands in ours
I'm not so concerned about the numerical differences but more about offical news sites putting them on par with the Retake movement. After all we know how dumb and industry friendly Gawker/Kotaku, IGN/Murdoch and the BBC moloch are.
yeah but you cant even join it without them inviting you...honestly I wouldnt worry about it too much
itd be like some trolls making a Kony support group or something theyre just in it for the lulz
The bbc always trys to show both sides, even if they are not totaly equal

Interesting, especially with the timing. If they're fixing ME3 ending, they would need alot of resources to get it done quickly before anymore damage is done. Still, it will take months to complete a DLC if they're starting from square one.
I think assuming they start now, End of may or June would be a reasonable time. If they start NOW to get the voice actors back in place, the programers back to their computers, the cinematic artist back to their programs. I guess we can calculate them for two months, maybe 3 months.
However, doing so would restore much faith in Bioware from my side as in "They actually listen.". It could be that they cancel this for DA III, but I doubt it. I think that DA III has been developed for some months now, besides the Addon part. I think it could be an indication that they relocate sources to get this fix asap.
The damage done by now is big. ME3 is listed with 39,99 € on amazon.de , with 49,99€ beeing the initial price at launch. 10 € loss in merely two weeks. I think they realize now, after the Facebook comment readers went berserk, that they have to do something.
The presurre from BBC,CNN and "Die Zeit", and from all other media isn't helping them much either. Yes, there are IGN and Kotaku out there, but judging by the numbers they are disliked very much, I know from atleast two people who have stopped following IGN after beeing called certain things in videos.
The "Keep Mass Effect" movement is not doing the perfect job either. By tossing out such insults like I posted a few pages ago, as "Little nerds, get la*d." and "Whiny b..." they loose some of their seriousity.". Someone also said that Bioware will p*ss off the fans who like the ending by changing it (Still, If you like the ending, don't get the DLC, seriously). But I think going by the numbers (100.000 if everything added on facebook and this poll against 400)..well...guess who brings more income when satisfied. And, they are 400 Members by now. I don't think that they can counter us for the most part. I mean, we have raised ~72.000 $ so far, and if people comment: "They always toss this argument out. Haha". It is the truth. Get 72.000 $ together, with us savely assuming we can hit the 100.000 by the end of the week. We did this, and I am proud to be one of you.
Thus all said, I think relocating those things is the first sign of chaos prevention. If we keep up the pressure just a bit, Bioware has to react.
And "EA turning away from Bioware.". Seriously, if Bioware would release the DLC for 5$, they would still have income. I would pay for that as in:
"Yes, they thought it was good, no it was not. But people listened and pulled off all the work again.". So, 5$ is not the world. If EA can get that money...well...you know EA?

Please keep in mind these folk may not be invested in this game, as a developer he is going to be looking at it purely from his perspective, his story, his creation, what we are doing here is essentially a threat to him and people like him.SassyJazRzmataz wrote...

In IGN's facebook page.
Just scroll down until you find it.
You'll need to hit the 'read more recent stories' button at the end of the page to see it.
