I found a pretty nice ending diagram where all your choices matter

I have seen this bevor but this is even better than the endings in ME2. This should be send to Bioware immediately. And the endings aren't that hard to made. I don't need CGI sequences. Just use Ingame grafics and they could pull that off in a few months.

where is the IGN poll?

In IGN's facebook page.

Just scroll down until you find it.

You'll need to hit the 'read more recent stories' button at the end of the  page to see it.

Thank you.

Or you could follow this link.

DJ, could you add this to the Update blurb please?

Edit - removal of fail.

Holy crap it managed to get top story on the tech page on BBC!

Yet, the Editor's Pick comment says how we should be happy with the ending.

I like the comment about how a director wouldn't re-shoot and ending [of a film] if the audience didn't like it.

Funny, didn't they re-shoot two movies all ready? Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Spider-man, which completely retell the stories of those two superheros.

Furthermore, the endings in movies 9/10 times make sense. You didn't see LotR-style magic used to blow up the Death Star.<_<

Yeah it doesnt make sense how he says he is a game devloper and makes a post like that unless he makes IOS games lol

They pretty much shut down Mass Effect by destroying it's setting.
What we will get now is possible prequel, which won;t sell well. Not until they do something with this...

Self-bump:

Is everyone aware of this poll: https://www.facebook...MassEffect3Poll

I know that there are many who hate facebook with a passion, and I'm indeed one of those people. But I got myself a dummy account just for these polls. May I humbly suggest that you do the same? : )

In France SWTOR will be free this week end again. I think this is a way to wish that movement will calm down. I also think they are wrong since we are close to 2000th pages!

Not new, but article now allows comments

That featured comment makes me mad:
"As a game developer (programmer - not at Bioware) I find this story hilarious. Good to hear that they raised money for charity, but people really should put their energies towards worthwhile causes... not the fact they don't like the ending of a video game!"

Oh so raising 70k for sick kids isn't using our energy in a worthwhile cause, eh?

Well get in there and put in some comments for our side then!

And dont forget that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle killed Sherlock.  It was only by a campaign such as ours that people convinced him to allow Sherlock to live..

Somones made that point, hope its gets made an editors pick, dont mention it took ten years though, and 9 years to get a story that took place before the end!

My whole SW:ToR guild is behind me in this. If they would choose SW:ToR for 6 months for free or an end to Mass Effect 3...well...guess what?

Plus we have to see the wider picture:
Other companies like Blizzard or Valve stick to producing one game that then gets enough development and writing time for it to be brilliant or at least outstanding. EA and other publishers always try to churn out many games as fast as possible without any quality in terms of writing.
Players were actually lucky because Square Enix allowed Eidos Montreal to devote additional time to Deus Ex: Human Revolution (because a Final Fantasy title failed) and the game turned out great.

We all kinow how great Bioware's potential is and it's in the nature of RPGs to take a lot of love and time. What I want is game that is worth the time I'm wasting on it. In a good future game companies actually devote effort to develop games that do more than just kill time. Retake Mass Effect could be a step into that better future. I would call that worthwhile.

which is exactly something for us to point out at every opportunity....if ac doyle can bring back the worlds greatest detective, why couldn't bioware provide a few more satisying alternate endings...

I still think getting on the BBC page is just great. The average person might not know about IGN or Kotaku but they have heard of BBC and Forbes. I was trying to explain to my dad about the movement and I just linked him to the various Forbes articles and was like "here read."

And as I recall, certain HBO series was supposed to end with season 2, with certain Chris Keller loosing his life in the hands of an ex-lover, except that fans wrote letters asking for more. But hey, 6 seasons instead of 2 is totally not catering to the fans, is it?
