Oh man im tired of those ppl who i need to justify myself to of being passionate about a video game. It reminds me of the time 10 years ago where you coudnt tell anyone that you like gaming or surfing in the internet / or the pc. You were called nerd and i dont know what.. Today everyone uses facebook and twitter and surfes on the internet all day long with his iphone/pad/dontknowwhat. And still are there people who cant watch over their own plate. As if those people wouldnt be angry about something they are passionate about and it got ruined.

Yes, but apparently only thing(s( you are allowed to be passionate about is suffering people, women and children preferrably, and/or suffering animals.

...does Marauder Shields remind anyone else of a really warped Dachshund?

Oh they don't? Let's see, then all pre-release audiences are a myth, Dark Knight never got the cut after Ledger died, I am Legend must be my imagination, Hide and Seek, well that could be my imagination, I'll give them that, House never changed the ending, Oz is only 2 seasons long... Nope, absolutely no movie ever did anything like what we are asking.

I am Legend has two endings, the 'alternative' ending was in fact the original ending - and ironically the one that made sense AND what the film had been leading up to. For some reason they decided to refilm the ending, giving us one that bore little resembulance to the rest of the film.

I think atrocity was being sarcastic.

I really wish that Bioware employees were able to voice their opinions, dam non-disclosure contracts....

I'm sorry, but I'll never accept the 3 endings we got as diverse or different when essentially the only difference between them was the color of the blast. It's ludicrous and we were promised that we wouldn't get vanilla ABC endings. Also, the lack of any closure was incredibly upsetting and we were promised closure. What gives Bioware?

Holy crap it managed to get top story on the tech page on BBC!

Yet, the Editor's Pick comment says how we should be happy with the ending.

I like the comment about how a director wouldn't re-shoot and ending [of a film] if the audience didn't like it.

Funny, didn't they re-shoot two movies all ready? Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Spider-man, which completely retell the stories of those two superheros.

Furthermore, the endings in movies 9/10 times make sense. You didn't see LotR-style magic used to blow up the Death Star.<_<

Plus, I Am Legend had two endings. The alternative one, to my mind, is far superior to the "heroic sacrifice" that you saw in the theaters.

Of course, neither ending to I Am Legend is true to the BOOK or even the meaning of the Title. "I Am Legend" is the monster realization moment on the part of the protagonist, where he realizes that he's come to be seen as the monster for this new species of sentient vamps. >.>

The alternate ending does touch on this, as Neville looks at all the pictures of the creatures he has killed and experimented upon. I took this as a nod to the true meaning of the book.

I do think we should visit the feedback tread to keep that one moving as well. They need to see the issues over and over. Don't just post "endings sucks lol" give the reasons we have all discussed and why we feel that way.

That's very true.

......but personally I'm totally 'burnt out', and can't repeat the same reasons over and over. I really think that enough has been said on this matter; we all have a very clear idea as to what's wrong with the 'ending'.

Now it's BW's turn to make a real statement.

2000 is great guys but alot of it has been "any news yet" and "hold the line" the posts need to be better content to mean something. Meaningful dialog is important.

To emphasize, lets not spam our way to that number, it is just another number, please put some content in your posts.

Welcome to page 2000.

HOLD THE LINE!

Edit: It IS just a number guys. Let's not get overexcited. It means nothing if this thread ends up not being able to see past a number and instead lets its message go to waste.

BioWare will most likely make a statement at PAX. I would if I were them, they won't be able to avoid it there anyway lol.

Woot 2000 pages!

2000 pages, just think, one day everyone will either look back and see when mass effect was saved by the community or when mass effect was killed, hoping for the former
