This feeling I have isn't rage...it's become something worse...it has become white hot hatred for Bioware now after still seeing all these posts of "We know people who like the ending..." just no Bioware...

I am realy pissed right now. Is this never going to end. I can't realy eat or sleep. I have thicks to focus on but I just can't. If that Tweet was serios or just another PR attempt to check if our outcry has silent, then they just have to read in this forum. But I should not expect much form them anymore, should I?

not the right place to discuss it here... but: a) did you play with an imported save game? B) did you spare or destroy the collector's base? c) did you save anderson from being shot by the ILM?

this all matters too in getting this ending

True, but people have actually examined the game data. Some war assets are mutually exclusive and there's no way to gain enough of them to have an EMS of 4000 or higher without MP to raise your readiness. Some have suggested it's a design mistake in how the assets are measured, others think it's just another thing BW lied about.

Anyway, we should really respond to that tweet. I don't have a twitter account, but I encourage everyone who has one to point out to them that a) we're the majority and B) we're asking for something optional, not forced.

We are getting plenty of feedback from people who love the ending and consider the thought of changing it an affront, as well.

Wow. Just wow

Chill, the PR guys that run BioWare's fb and twitter seem pretty out of touch. I mean look at what they've said in the last week; a plethora of comments in totally different from what BioWare actually has been saying. I'm actually not even considering that an official statement until someone a little higher up comments.

But, still.... really? <_<

Oh man i love this Mass Effect Twitter Account. It was a really great idea of them to actually let People (yeah i dont think that this is just one person responding there, or is it ? Oo) respond nonstop to the Fans.

If you take a look on the Mass Effect Twitter Account everything just seems Lovely and Great and Positive. Everyone is so nice and if i take a quick look then there are all the time more responses to the Postive Messages regarding Mass Effect then Negative. Great Public Relations i must give them my Respect. Naturally they need to say that there are so many People (Many = can start at 2 People) who like the Ending, how would it look if they say since Day One of the Mass Effect 3 Release "Yeah you know, we know it sucks but yeah", "Thats it, sry Guys :(", "Oh please guys, just take your Money back, the End isnt good".

They need to stay Positiv and have a Positive look to the Outside, i understand and Respect that, just hope that they dont forget us. Im waiting till PAX for and official Statement (but nontheless hope they do one before) and "Hold the Line" =)

Edit: Oh yes, i know there a actually many people who like the Ending. Thats Great, im happy for them  ! So i wish they let me my Moment to be Happy too !

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you check the replies a lot of them are automated responses. The personalised ones are the only ones with people behind them.

Seems a lot of people never did the side quest with conrad in the citadel in which he actually tells you how the weapons is supposed to work using dark energy to target the reapers.and how he has a degree in Xenoscience and sends Shepard a copy of his dissertation on dark energy matter.

Dark energy is the name given to an unexplained force that is drawing galaxies away from each other, against the pull of gravity, at an accelerated pace.

Dark energy is a bit like anti-gravity. Where gravity pulls things together at the more local level, dark energy tugs them apart on the grander scale.

Now since we have a simple Idea what dark energy is. I have a hard time beleving that it can combine DNA together as it doesn't actually combine anything it tears things apart at a grander scale.

Granted I don't expect game developers to explain what dark energy is but simple research would suggest that sytnineses is atleast not possible in that weapon design.

I just find it funny that if the weapon is built like they say then the green ray should never be an option

FYI you need at least 4000 readiness rateing and must "save" Anderson or at least 5000 readiness rateing and choose to destroy in order to get the Sheapard taking a breath scene. And that is according to the stratigy guide.

I chose destroy too. I had everything in line with what the strategy guides called for. Just, no breath. I guess I just did something wrong.

Don't even get me started on this EMS thing...I can go on and on.
I hate it just as much as I hate the ending. I feel like Bioware screwed us, Xbox players (who, ironically, were their first fanbase) so much with this multiplayer thing...<_<

I *think* you can if you have an imported character who followed the paragon path in the first two games, and who had an excess of resorces at the end of ME2. I know I got extra EMS points for resorces plus some assets from Ilos that were related to decisions made in ME1.

Nope. I imported a Shep through the whole trilogy. Took the paragon choice for every major decision. Had over 200,000 excess of every resource. Still only ended up with 3700 EMS.

I topped out at about 3900

I have it, however they have done some calculations in another thread (about game mechanics) and they says that more of 3800 without MP you cannot have.

Dont know if im reading more into it then what it is.
But when he or she or the bot says "aswell" im thinking he/she the tweeter or bioware themself.

Gah, the silence from em is making me crazy. :o

I don't think so. I think they are just referring to fans who have tweeted that they like the ending and don't want it changed.

that whole ", as well" is throwing a lot of people off.

Everybody calm down, that twitter thing is NOT their final answer. At this point, their caving and they have to at least make it LOOK like they consider the fans that want the ending to stay the same to have an actual point and that they're standing up for them.

At this point WE right though we may be, are the BAD GUYS bullying a company to change its ending just because to the rest of the free world *We just don't like it*

Keep the pressure up, stay civil, stay reasonable don't let them bait you.

And for the love of god realize that we are truly winning at this point

Boys!
Bioware will never say: "you're right, we were wrong"
Bioware, if we listen, say: "the majority loved the ending, but we love our fans and we do the DLC because we care about you"
