I find it strange that people find the option of changing the ending an affront. They're not being forced to change it if they like it. That's like saying giving the option to agree to the dark ritual in DA:O is an affront to the ultimate sacrifice ending. They included the ability to have a "happy" ending in DA:O, so why is it so offensive to have the option in ME3?

I find it odd that the fiscal year ends March 30th for FY12 for EA. It makes me think part of EA delaying a response until PAX is to not have to report the cost of returned games or further development in the current fiscal year.

As a random note: did you notice, that the prothean Vi on Thessia (if questioned) says that there was a conflict among the Protheans, and that the crucible was not used because a group that wanted control of the reapers (and that later turned out to be indoctrinated) sabotaged their efforts. Doesn't that remind you of someone?

the people that are mad at the mass effect twitter.. please dont be!
its just another pr mud sling not directly affecting us. and trying to garner more support.. while staying semi ambiguous nosweat.
i even posted directly to that twitter to look up the majority of polls out there bsn . face book ign. gooogle.. we are roughly 90% dis siatisfied with the ending .
very factual and nbot angery. is what we have to present them or .. they win.
keep it civil.. cool collected. hold the line!

I'm guessing second week sales numbers will be popping up in the next few days. Should have Finland's numbers tomorrow, i think. Will be an interesting read.

Reports in the UK press indicate that sales of ME3 fell by 75% in a week...to which I can only say OUCH!


OK, I'm back and not crying, much.

My Readyness rating was some 3100, although I know I missed out on a few assets during the game.

I will note that there was a statement posted on these boards from Bioware that said it was quite possible to get all the assets you needed in game without having to play MP. It seems, in my view however, that the readyness level or the values of the assets in game is off - which makes it difficult to impossible for most players to get the required number. 

Can you send Councilor Troi over now...I could use some 'councilling' *coughs*

I thought the exact same thing when I first read it. But there is no way they would openly declare that over twitter in that manner.

That whole ",as well" at the end means that the players who like the ending also think changing it is a bad idea.

Spot on. It's having the same effect as a dangling participle; i.e. people are thinking Bioware is affronted when they meant that the other fans were affronted.
