The polls and fan bashlack is what really pushes the cause forwards. My opinion doesn't matter and i'm sure Bioware don't give a damn about it so I can voice it as I please

Um, no, it really doesn't. If you look at the way the media has been slandering and slamming the movement, it's people speaking out the way that you did that really put us all back because it creates an easier straw man. When they can point to angry posts like that they can say "See? We're right! They're all spoiled and childish!" Even if it is untrue, it's still giving them ammo.

I really understand how upset you are. I had a rather corase way of describing exactly what the ending felt like right after I finished the game - but I'm not going to voice it here or publicly. It's not a description fit for public circulation and it certainly doesn't respect the attitude I'm putting forward as part of this.

As for BW not taking any sides... does anyone else feel like BW is their significant other and they just asked for a break to make their mind  up on whether or not they want to stay with us?

I think what's going on is that people are misinterpreting that tweet. It was clear to me that they meant fans who like the ending would be affronted by changing it. I suspect many people understood the tweet to mean that Bioware would be affronted by changing the ending. I seriously doubt that this is what the tweet meant.

I repeat: they meant some fans would be affronted, not Bioware.

Self-bump. This is important.

That's fine. And you are correct, it is your right to voice it as you please. However I respectfully ask for you to tone in down in this thread, thank you.

is.

Calm down, please. They are just saying that to defend themselves. "Plenty" is undefined, in their eyes 1000 people could be "plenty" to support that statement.

In the long run, we will win! HOLD THE LINE!

Would you be calm if you see a kid with a loaded gun, pointing it at himself? Because that's what I see right now.

there is no need to freak out just stay calm

I'm amazed at how a company like Bioware, who is supposedly close to its fans and listens to their feedback (c.f. them talking about how the fans were the reason for romanceable Garrus and Tali), thought that an ending like this would fly with its audience.

What I got from it is that BW is getting snarky at us, and isn't really wanting to take us seriously.

We should all send emails to amazon about how angry we are with the game's ending and that we want our money back.
That would raise the pressure.

Reporting back in. Woah it's been a little busy while I was sleeping. Easy people we should know how split personality the twitter seems to be. Keep calm, keep civil and keep holding the line. Recall the stuff on PR Damage control. Some of this stuff is trying to bait us into behaving badly. Don't give in and give them what they want.

No you make a good point, but what I'm saying is that they are probably working the pr people to death trying to contain this, and they are starting to get haggard, and worn down, thus making more, and more mistakes.

I agree, this has to be wearing them down. Which is good news for us. We're having an impact and our numbers are still growing, so we must keep this up. Let's make sure they give up before we do.

Hold the line!

And they want you to have that impression and act on it. Don't bite the hook, remember the PR tactics.

As for now, remember that they can please both sides with optional DLC so their argument is borked.

Don't patronise me, I was unaware I am not allowed to express my opinion on the internet.
Sorry for being slightly pissed off but that is mostly down to Biowares terrible ending

So our child's play charity is only $1,300 away from $75,000. Am I the only person who remembers it was at $3,000 Sunday before last? This still blows me away.

You're allowed, but we're requesting that as long as you are a voice in our movement you try to reflect the attitude we're trying to foster, please.

Also, for those who get too concerned about the way IGN treats us, give this a look and feel better:

Amazon.com gave me a full refund!

Yup, I asked their customer service department today if this would be possible on the grounds that the game is nothing what was promised by BioWare and to my surprise, they offered me a 100% full refund. So, as of a few moments ago, the RMA has been completed, the game packaged up, Origin deleted, and ME:3 removed from my hard drive.

Tis a sad day but perhaps there will be an update at some point in the future. Until then, I'm just going to try and forget how terrible it was.

Then I salute you for doing what most people would not have the motivation to do.

Now if a couple hundred thousand more people did the same, EA would have to start explaining things a lot more quickly than they are now.

*salute*
