They are about as good at PR as anyone else, they just have a giant tidal wave. Hard to hold that back.
Sometimes I doubt that. This is the second time a badly worded or misguided tweet caused a massive backlash. I have no media/PR training and I can see that the way this tweet was written would create misunderstandings. I'm not saying that the entire PR departement is bad, but some of these people don't always seem to think before they post.
No you make a good point, but what I'm saying is that they are probably working the pr people to death trying to contain this, and they are starting to get haggard, and worn down, thus making more, and more mistakes.
If this is true anyone else feel like jumping on this??? Anybody, keep tweeting messaging and such until somebody really sticks their foot in their mouths.
They can easilly delete a "We have no plans to change the ending at this time" message, but someone tripping up and flat out stating "Fine the endings will be changed" can't be deleted after its been stated.
Anybody? Yes? No?
Its a faint hope that they could really be worn down like this but it is a hope.
That and maybe the PR team will eventually say to hell with this and tell their own employers to answer. I sure as hell would after a week or two of this.
