Shouldn't have linked that stupid tweet. :S
Really just poor gramar there.

But it shows how much a few wrong words can do right now. Most people here finished the game a week ago and yet everyone seems more on edge every day.

In other news another major german games magazine has taken up the story in their headlines: PC Games
Mostly talking about user polls. Great story, ending sucks, yada yada.

They are about as good at PR as anyone else, they just have a giant tidal wave. Hard to hold that back.

Sometimes I doubt that. This is the second time a badly worded or misguided tweet caused a massive backlash. I have no media/PR training and I can see that the way this tweet was written would create misunderstandings. I'm not saying that the entire PR departement is bad, but some of these people don't always seem to think before they post.

No you make a good point, but what I'm saying is that they are probably working the pr people to death trying to contain this, and they are starting to get haggard, and worn down, thus making more, and more mistakes.

If this is true anyone else feel like jumping on this??? Anybody, keep tweeting messaging and such until somebody really sticks their foot in their mouths.

They can easilly delete a "We have no plans to change the ending at this time" message, but someone tripping up and flat out stating "Fine the endings will be changed" can't be deleted after its been stated.

Anybody? Yes? No?

Its a faint hope that they could really be worn down like this but it is a hope.

That and maybe the PR team will eventually say to hell with this and tell their own employers to answer. I sure as hell would after a week or two of this.

Or maybe PR guy is actually on our side and purposely leaking us information?

Wow, just overheard a group of co-workers ****ing about the ending and planning to return their copies en-mass. I can't think I have ever heard any gaming talk in the office ever. Didn't even notice the talk until I heard "it was the same damn ending, all they did was change the colors" followed by expletives.

These aren't the kind of folks to hang out in forums, or vote on FB polls. We're talking a bunch of 40 year old white collar guys.

Priceless lol

Lol, I actually feel sorry for the guy.

He's probably been handed a big sheet covering what he can say or what he has to say regardless of own opinion.
Be nice to the poor chap

Makes me wonder what's going on with the team that made ME3...  Or the voice actors, for that matter.  How many of them looked at the ending and wondered/said "This?  Really?"

LOL it's nice seeing the poor dude/people/chica/bot letting some steam off.  Er, letting some origin off, sorry!

There's no way the twitter folks don't have a talking-points memo, btw.  Altho it's probably more like a talking-points encyclopedia at this point.  Most simple answers are provided by macro or bot, but the occasional human responses are nice.

Didn't Amazon also offer a free refund for copies of DA2?

If so at this rate they may decide that stocking Bioware titles isn't worth the hassle.

This is not the mass effect BWEA is looking for.  Honestly I hope they just own up, start talking to us, and fix it already before used sales and outright returns get significant.  Deciding to wait until you're pasty white before seeking medical attention is not the best plan when it's already clear you're bleeding.

I know :( Kinda sad to think about, it's a shame they can't comment on the matter... However, there are unconfirmed rumors going about that Mr. Sheen was the one that donated 10k for the charity.

Let's hope there is a second line at Bioware HQ.

Where does he stand on it?  For?  Against?  Neutral?

I think I he's saying something about us being unsastisfied even if a new ending was written or something like that...  I'm not sure.  Someone clarify this?

You shouldn't (seriously).

There was a report earlier in the day, to the effect that some commentator on some website has accused us of contemplating sending suicide bombers into BW. That ignoble wretch could get in serious trouble (I don't want to use the L-word, but you get my meaning): you can't just fling false accusations at people like that in an open society; it's a crime. But it's also a good reminder to us, as to how spineless these people can get. Let's not give them any excuses.

Sending suicide bombers... I have no words.. .. that has to be the dumbest thing anyone against  us has said...

So that commentator was completely full of BS and was missing the point that if someone bombed Bioware... We would NEVER get the ending we wanted?

I saw this in another forum and it was perfect.

This is how the game should have ended, and how Commander Shepard should have responded to the starchild.

And why do we have found memories of Bab 5? Oh yeah, it gave meaningful closure. It showed us what happened to our favorite characters.  It gave us an explaniation of what happened after the main events without overly massive plot holes.  I know that scene wasnt the end of Bab 5, but you get the point!  Yes the actual final episode was bittersweet, but it was so and still accomplished the items above.  *sigh* ME3 could have hit these same notes (and still could Bioware).  I want to have the these same fond memories about this game series 10+ years after its release.  Make it right Bioware.  Make it right!

Wow.. Amazon has consistently been awesome... mind you that's WHY I got ME3 through them in the first place. I'm still not returning mine (unless someone's got news about Bioware saying haha sux2bu we're not changing it that I missed today), at least until I know they're not changing it... It's not even a "the game sucks" at this point, it's a "The ending sucks, they shouldn't have done this" thing. I really really hope they fix it. Otherwise I'm going to just give up EA.. and I saw the new Simcity stuff today, and it looks amazing.. and I don't want to give up EA.. I like EA, cept when they're dumb :(
