Well, according to Mr. Keighley's "The Final Hours", the ending was pretty much what was decided from the beginning. So, no "time management problems", no "rushed ending", no "cuts caused this", no "EA came and simplified it". I guess most knew it all along. But some people were just wanting not to believe it.

Reporting in.. Ready to HOLD THE LINE
What have I missed?
The toilets are blocked, due someone letting the Krogen use the Human toilets. The Geth downloaded Windows Vista and keep crashing. The SSV Alliance had a minor mutiny over if Han shot first, followed by a second mutiny on the SSV Enterprise as to if Picard or Kirk had been the better Captain.
Oh and we ran out of coffee, again.
Other than that we're still holding the line.
lol, this perked up my spirits
*Bows*
I thought we needed a lighten the mood a little, since things can get tense very quickly.
No matter how down you may be feeling, no matter how hard this might get or how it may feel that we are banging our heads against a brick wall. I think it is important to try and keep spirits up and the tone light where possible.
Of course I've always had a problem remaining ultra serious for any length of time. As evidenced by by GCSE biology exam...in which I sort of lost the plot during the essay on the last page and pointed out that you could control population levels by killing people, but this might not go over well with the population as a whole.
*Coughs*
Occasionally I can be strange and scary.

The positive feedback on the #masseffect twitter page is starting to bother me. Personally I can see someone being able to deal with the ending considering how great the series is as a whole; but folks stating that they "loved" the ending is mind-boggling to me. As much as we love Bioware its okay to let them know they dropped the ball, its what friends are for.

People returning their copies, that of course is entirely up to you, but that is going to mean a financial loss for Bioware, we are not at war with Bioware, we are fighting because we care, if they get financial problems then it's going to be difficult for them to develop more content, that includes any new endings.

DJBare - I understand what you are saying - but you need to also understand - we are actually - People need to understand we are dealing with a major corp - they only answer to shareholders. Create enough bad press to drop the stocks - or there is a large amount of returns - creates a huge amount of pressure on this corp to do something to fix this.
Now I threw out the theory that BW does have the real endings - they needed time to finish them properly - so they put this out there to get a polarized view with the fans - What they didn't expect was just how many fans actually hate the ending. 85%+ of your fan base that hates your endning. You have an issue. What they were trying to do; and if they'd done it better; was to try an not just indoctrinate Shepard; but us the fans - thus all the crytic messages - way things have played out .
But you have also got to thing - There was no "The Truth" or at least not planned - This is where in the end you have to goto war with the corp to get them to actually step back and change it.
Because what they will do is bunker down -if it doesn't blow over - they then pull the writers and developers in and say what will it cost to fix this? They will get the numbers - if the numbers to fix the issue is lower than the numbers to let the storm continue. We will get a fix. If its not - they will ****** us off; and say no.
You have to make it hurt enough for them to fix it - and that's the truth. Its not nice; its a bit harsh - but in business - specially big business - you got to be harsh.

I have asked multiple people in a calm & civil manner to explain to me how the ending is so ingenious.
None of them can provide me a reason other than "Itz awsum!."
Old news, even some news articles about it. "Apperantly" an employee got some bad info and messed up. Bioware has latter stated it was bogus and that they are "listening"Risselda wrote...
Has anyone heard that bioware officially said they are NOT changing the endings via a twwet...but the tweet got deleted quickly?
