With the Geth Fighter mission and the Project Overlord DLC, interacting with an AI world is possible soooo...

Using Indoc Theory, relying on plot change back to Dark Energy stated by this guy (awesome overall info and ideas), how about there is no interface or protocols for using the weapon? An interface could be brought by Geth or from Citadel maintenance VI overwhelming Shepherd like in Overlord. She/he sees everything that the Citadel sees and he mentally projects (points gun if necessary to keep a mental handle on the situation) damage to a nearby Reaper, the crucible fires and immense blast that rips the Reaper in half.

(mentally projecting defense in form of shields) Reapers attacks against the crucible fail. Harbinger attaches himeself to the Citadel and then Shepherd and Harbinger dialogue and then fight in the virtual world. War assest and readiness come into play at a crucial moment, when Hackett notices the the crucible is no longer firing and commands all available fleets to attack harbinger while he's attached to citadel, at the same moment Harbinger is winning the virtual world fight but if he is damaged significantly he can't maintain his virtual attacks on Shepherd.

Insert awesome quotes, fight sequences/moments, and there ya go.

When you pair that up with PR talk about "minority", "most vocal", "most passionate" fans....it does make us look like we are skipping highschool to hold this line.

I don't go to high school any more, I left years ago and to be perfectly honest the fact I can't play ME3 without thinking "what's the point?" leaves me with literally nothing else to do but hold the line.

Splendid. However The have to be closure after that.

What happended to everyone... species relations, friends, allies, enemies.

The best way I've seen it done ever, was in DA1 where massive amount of information was given to satisfy our curiosity with text... nothing but paragraphs of script with a nice background to stimulate emotional output. 

I was leaving that open for the others to wrap up. I had no intention though of that being the final scene. I REALLY want an epilogue reflecting my decisions.

Just had a look at IGN's 'Are you happy with the end of Mass Effect 3' poll on Facebook...over a thousand people are happy with it...to the over 13,000 that aren't so far.

Did that backfire for them or what? ^^

Patrick Klepek over at Giant Bomb is actually trying to get him to do an interview to discuss the reaction to the ending of Lost in comparison to the reaction of ME3.  I'd actually be interested to read that one, considering I was let down by both.

[*]Ok BW/EA are taking this seriously - several reasons - What we've done here - in PR terms in revolutionary - no other time in gaming history have fans come together so quickly - respectfully and civilly and shown the company they got it wrong. 
[*]Two - for a AAA game to already get discounted - shows Retailers are getting worried about stocking the items - This again a huge issue for BW/EA -
[*]Three - no stock rise in releasing a AAA hit - their stock should of bumped by this; but its continueing to drop - again signs of cracks and weakness.
[*]Four - this is a sprint - this is a marathon - We've gotten them admit some of their fans are having issues with the ending - less than 2 weeks time - Old days that would of taken months if ever.......
[*]Five - we have them scared - scared bad - everytime they try to drum up good PR - we're there to remind them; to hold them accountable for what they promised.
[*]Six - Mass Effect 3 in UK has dropped in sales after the first week by 74% - is now number two - that is massive - we won't get the rest of the numbers until the end of the week
[*]We need patience; respectfulness - if you're feeling a bit down - I'll cheer you; if you need a break.....TAKE IT - then come back refreshed - most of all HOLD THE LINE

Evangelion wasn't a video game where we picked the ending. 

Plus Japanese tv shows/anime have the habit of ending everything in the movie theaters...not even kidding. 

Well, the truth is that we don't pick the ending in the videogame at all <_<. They invented the EMS system an then, that system is useless (yes, three seconds more of ending)

Nope, just their community relations staff on a round the clock shift rotation.  Pretty common place.. I think Xbox has one that does this too.

[*]Of course it is perfectly possible for them to redo the ending. If they can make a 2 hour DLC they can make an ending DLC...Heck it would be cheaper because they don't HAVE to create new areas, creatures ect. They can use existing assets that are already in game. Nor do they need another 2 hours of gameplay...the problem has always been the last 5-10 minutes. They could get away with a diolog-only ending with cut-scenes, depending on what they write.[*]As for voice talent...Seriously Bioware have a fairly large cast of dependable voice actors they have been relying on since KOTOR - I think the actor voicing Carth Onasi in KOTOR is the same actor who voices Kaden in the ME series. They can get these actors in to record additional lines at fairly short notice, and frankly if I was one of the actors involved I'd be more than happy to go into a studio for an hour or two to record extra material.[*]Basically while it would cost time and money, it wouldn't be as much time and money as, say, future SP DLC - which it should be added would be somewhat pointless to produce if no one is going to buy it anyway.
