yes I agree that $75,000 in a week is more than amazing it is superb amd all this from fans of a game a truly grate game but still a game. do i want this to happen more than once? No but at the same time I hope that this starts to move the gamer out of the shadows and seen as nothing more than children into that of a consumer with all the rights that intails.

Some of these questions are fun to answer as they allow me to speculate as much as everyone else.

We have firmly established that Bioware/EA has every conceivable PR lockdown measure going they can. Problem is, they have to keep responding to tweets or they will get called out for it.

Imagine that you are at a desk and all day long people are calling you about the sixteen setting toaster that burns your toast on all sixteen settings. How many times do you think it takes before that person gets so frustrated saying "thank you for your input" they blurt out "some people like 16 different types of burnt toast!"

The PR guys are walking on eggshells trying not to stir anything up (look at Sunday night). The twitter thing is probably just someone needing to blow off steam and chose the wrong way to do it.

The problem with bunkers, as any military man would know, is that unless you have good weapons to keep outsiders away, a good way of hiding, or an escape route, they're pretty damn easily surrounded. And that's when it turns into a war of attrition. Protip: the people inside the bunker (or castle, as this is equivalent to a siege) aren't going to be able to outlast the people on the outside.

Old way of PR when something went back - was to use the bunker method; ride out the store - 20 years ago it took a lot of time and money to get people in one place to protest.

Today - nope - PR forums got great write ups on this - also on what they are most likely doing.  I highly recommend to go in and read.  Its only 290 pages.........its not like this beast

That's what scares me. I expected him to nail Duke Nukem: Forever to the wall, but in his actual review of it he pulled a ton of is punches. I mean, he had the pre-release review which was scorching and hilarious, but the ACTUAL review was just.. incredibly meh.

He might not even review it, Yahtzee's ducked things before in general and tends to stand for the "average" gamer... but he's sided with the corps and the Escapist "party line" before...

Figure that BW doesn't want to say anything until after the 31st of this month - that is the end of the financial quarter I believe.

Note that I said 'want'. If things continue at the rate they have been doing they might not be able to hold the dam back that long - especially if this gets picked up by the mainstream media as a consumer rights issue (which is what this boils down to in the end).

True I mean for a 5-6 minute video can be done completely without mentioning us, in fact I'd feel a bit more relieved if that happened. Again that's if it's even what he's reviewing tomorrow.

Not only that but the way the scene was set up where the kid was introduced was basically the setup for "hallucination child" in every other form of media. The dreams kept hammering this home. The fact that he was the catalyst though was, in retrospect, their way of foreshadowing him. Then again the fact that Shepard sees himself BURNING in the Dream with the Reaper noise towards the end could mean indoctrination... I hope it does, at least.

I don't foresee Yahtzee supporting us. He's both really vitriolic and pessimistic, and it'll probably be easier to rip into us than explain our position. He's not very fond of Bioware games in the first place, iirc.

I noticed that too. You'd think one of the people in the shuttle would help the kid on but... huh.
