Great article that addresses the critics of the Retake Mass Effect movement! Author addresses the critics in a polite and intelligent manner but blows them out fo the water. A must read. Sorry if it has been posted already:

Get the word out - talk with news - something we haven't thought of Getting ahold of consumer reports on this with all the promises right up before the release and then - being lied too.....
Get friends that have the game - get them to write; even if they like the ending; if they say the support us in our choice also looks damn good.......Almost better than just us saying we dislike the ending. If we can get a lot of people that say they like it; but support us in our cause would be massive.
I'm signing out for the night -

In a conversation with my wife tonight I finally understood how deeply this whole ordeal has shaken me. Being a gamer as well, she is fully aware of how annoyed by the ME3 ending. Tonight she asked me, "If they don't fix the ending would you rather play through ME3 again or read Twilight." I paused for a moment before I said play ME3 again. That pause is soooo disturbing to me! Grrrrrrrr Bioware!
Yeah I was debating that tonight too, I was wondering if Twilight had killed off any main characters and if they had given them closure... thankfully I only watched part of the first one before I realized that it was damaging to my brain.

Scary:o The worst part is I honestly am not sure what I would do, are we just talking one book, or the whole series.

2 weeks is nothing ! Besides, we lose nothing ( aside from interest ) while waiting for a fix. But Bioware lose sales with every passing day while they stay silent....
I guess one day I will open the forums and will see an official thread that will either say '' well we won't be fixing things, be on your way ''' or '' We started working on it''
I just hope it will be the latter...
That's just it: they're hoping we lose interest and let this blow over in the mean time.
This thread has slown down significantly since the week of ME3's release. I haven't been outside of this thread much, so my question to everyone who has: is this thread slowing down because people ARE losing interest/letting this blow over? Or are they just branching out into other threads?
Well for me personally I just don't reply to lots of things, I just scroll through reading. I'm sure a lot of people do that. But I also have noticed this thread has slowed down a bit lately, the pages don't go by as fast any more
As do I, I do not post a whole lot, but I try to read as much as I can in case anything new pops up.

Hahaha. I've read all the books (unfortunately) and the last one is...disturbing.
But anyways, it has a better ending than ME3. It is a happy ending, with babies, evil guy dead and all mysteries solved.

It's not like the programers of BW will starve to death or anything... the company made enough money with the game already... and in a way, we even helped with that, by causing so much media attention.^^
I just hope BW will reconcider and do alittle "Witcher 2" on us... reworking the game into alittle more complete version, once the dust has sattled.
Agreed!
The only problem I see is this: Games have beecome more and more a "fire and forget" affair for BW the last couple of years. They even cancelled the DA2 expansion "Exalted March" in favour of the next game.
They have a fixed time period to further support their games and that's it.
And they don't tinker with their games much, post release... 2-3 patches to fix the most common problems... the most.

Then last night I tried playing ME1. Got to the title screen and just turned it off. The ending to ME3 has completely wrecked the entire trilogy for me.
It's reasons like this that we can't let this go away.

hmm..... Honestly I would do the book, at least the crappiness is constant, unlike ME3 where it's awesome... awesome.... more awesome.... and then space magic hits, and you go "****"
least twilight will offer clousure (I think). That's probably the deciding factor, as I haven't heard any twilight
reviewers going "what the ****, edward just killed everyone with fairy magic, and now no more sparkles
anywhere:o".

That shows pressure is getting to them - DA2 is somewhat a lost cause - Also from the tweets - reason why they aren't doing it - retailers wouldn't stock it.....
Means Retailers are worried about games from BW - we are having a major effect - we need to keep up the pressure.......
Until then.
