SNIP for brevity.

welcome to the line, cadet! would you like your space cookie to have red, green, or blue sprinkles? (there's no difference in taste)

I'll pass on the cookies - I only came here to do two things:

1) maybe score a slice of cake (seriously, someone said there was cake.)
2) Hold the line.

...and since we're appartently out of cake...

red, green, or blue frosting? (again, no difference in taste)

DSo one plot hole that I never thought of until now. (Probably been talked about to death but bare with me.) At the end, why does the space magic wreck the Normandy? I guess if you choose cinnamon space magic maybe its because EDI is killed and the lazy crew is so used to her they can't fly without her. However the same happens if you pick mint or blueberry blast. Nothing in any of the flavors should wreck the Normandy. Maybe because they're too close to the catalyst? If that's so, does that imply the entire armada is now wrecked?

I always chalked it up to the destruction of the mass relays since, apparently, it was using them at the time...

Red, green, or blue? Those are my only choices... I'm not falling fer that one again... It would seem I'm going to have to put my sweet tooth on hold until we have ourselves a victory cake! Or chocolate, chocolate works too.

Hmmm maybe maybe. Either a plot whole or yet another thing we're just supposed to guess about. Oh and welcome all just joining us.

I'm starting to come around thinking that they'll keep dragging along the real last fight till future games.

If you go with the indoctrination version, Shepard is still taking a nap in downtown London. A worthy ending to a trilogy.

Mint!  I ended the known Mass Effect universe with a common toothpaste flavor!  It's a sad day for the Shepard.

Also, yeah I admit space magic is beyond me.  Especially the mint kind which should have like... made leaves grow on the deck or something instead of damaging it... I don't want to think about it, my brain hurts.

Also, welcome to all the new posters!

Sometimes I revert back to my old lurker state but I'm still here holding the line.
Sometimes I'm out there not lurking on here, but still holding the line.
And when I'm out there I'm complaining about the ending to Mass Effect 3. Sorry friends and family.

Then you have some line holding to do. They're still generally buckling down and being evasive but at this point we've gotten coverage on CNN and a couple of other major media outlets and magazines. Alot more gaming magazines from other countries are flat out stating that Bioware dropped the ball big time and in general the tide is rising in our favor. We're generally ontop of the movements/threads that say we're in the wrong and counter whatever points they made with coherent arguments and overwhelming numbers.

We do this so that people see we're in the majority, and so that EA can't supplant the movement by putting enough articles to show that we're the minority.

Get to line holding

Oh and EA's stocks are dropping further along with an announcement that the expansion for DA2 is cancelled because not enough shareholders were willing to back up the project (They're scared Bioware will drop the ball again)

Its the journey not the destination that counts.

So come on if like the first few days of game play were great and it was just that last night that was crappy you have no right to complain, just like the passengers aboard Costa Concordia cruise ship who likely enjoyed the rest of the cruise!

Come on BioWare, talk to us! We've said everything there is to say on the ending. It's your turn to do something. Saying "We're listening" and opening discussion threads is all well and good, but eventually you'll have to stop skirting around the issue and face it. The longer you delay the worse it's gonna get for you. The way it's going makes it look like you don't really care about the fanbase once you've gotten their money.

*sigh* whatever. We'll hold the line til Ragnarok if you don't answer us. That's how much we care about your universes and stories. Now, it's midnight here, I'm exhausted and not thinking very clearly. Night ya'll; I'll see you around noon.

As if people getting killed in a disaster compares to disappointment over a video game.

For the sake of your sanity, don't try to make sense of what is nonsensical. You'll give yourself an aneurism trying to find the logic they used.

Why does space magic wreck the Normandy (and everything else)? Why is a raven like a writing desk?
