I'm actually curious to see what Yatzhee will say about this.

I must admit a certain burning curiousity myself.  I tend to agree with Yatzhee in a lot of things, though not to the extent he does-how much of taht is intensity for comedic effect I dunno, but he holds games to high standards that very few have met.  He's usually quick to point out big flaws fans of the games overlook.

And we have not overlooked this.

All in all I expect some laughs as I always get with his videos.  LOLz all around.

In all honesty we as gamers often over look issues with games because said issues are in small numbers and of minor effect. When I use the word over look I mean we see them yet ignore them. All games have plot holes and failures of logic to some extent, but if they don't detract from the overall experience we are ok with it.

Yep, sounds like we might have to wait until PAX for anything official.

But the PR specialist (author of another thread topic) posted that silence for now is probably a good thing. Seems to point that BioWare might be weighing their options seriously. So in the meantime, we'll have to continue to be patient - making our voices heard in a civil, respectful way.

Its the journey not the destination that counts.

So come on if like the first few days of game play were great and it was just that last night that was crappy you have no right to complain, just like the passengers aboard Costa Concordia cruise ship who likely enjoyed the rest of the cruise!

Hear hear. That was a tragedy which could have been easily averted :(

Hold the line!!!

Say you went on a roadtrip around Europe. You saw Paris and London and Berlin and tasted food you had never imagined. You met interesting people and saw marvelous landscapes. Then, as you were travelling on a road by a cliff in the mountains, your steering wheel locked up and you careened off the cliff to die pinned in a flaming wreck, breathing in foul, oily fumes as youbled to death. That's pretty much the best analogy I've got for the ending of this series. It was a beautiful ride that ended with me getting railroaded into utter ruin, with me screaming and panicking at the end.

EDIT: oh, was that sarcasm? If so, sorry, it's late and I don't pick up on emotions (and their ilk) too well when they are in text form.

As if people getting killed in a disaster compares to a disappointment over a video game.

Agreed, but I think he/she was emphasizing the point that after the wreck of the ship no one gave two craps about how the cruise was going up to that point - to counterargue people saying "well everything else about the game was good" or "the entire game WAS the end"

I hope we get a straight answer from BW soon, until then I'm holding the line. It's the lack of answers I find most disheartening, for me at least.

I know I've said it before but I'm gonna say it again.

The Dragon age team is now under a ****load of pressure to make DA3 right.

"So what have we got so far."

"Subplot with zevran three subplots with Sten, six with leliana, the Seeker lady as a potential LI eighteen subplots with Ohgren a hundred with Morrigan, twenty appearances by Flemeth to give more of her bad ass dialogue."

"What about that one group of bandits outside lothering?"

"What about them? Most people killed them off."

"Who cares man!? You get those bandits or their orphaned children in there. The decisions MATTER or don't you remember what got us INTO this mess? *Glares at Casey's (possibly former) office*

My analogy for the game is that it's like racing in the Daytona 500 - you're given a kick ass race car and drive 495 perfect laps... you pull into your final pit and they replace your awesome car with a second-hand unicycle with a, erm, martial aid for a seat... and your crew chief tells you "The last 5 laps will be weak esoteric nonsense, but  highly philosophical - go get em!"

Last I checked they were not going to make a statement about the ending for at least another 2 weeks, anything change since they said that?

I could just immagine if a horde of gamers show up (which might be the case)

You'll have one EA employee up on like the 5th floor shouting out to other EA employees trying to get through the parking lot. "SANCTUARY!!! SANCTUARY!!!"

It'll numb in a couple of days and you'll be able to sleep properly again.

Edit: *hugs* That ending ruined me for days.
