I think this is what most people want. They don't want to force a type of ending. Just want everyone to get what they wanted in the end. Whether it be a dramatic sacrifice or a happy skip through a meadow.

Like I said, we need a Morrigan. A plot device with boobs where a happy ending depends on sex.

I've read all the new posts , all the leaks confirmation , all the discussions .. I am still clinging on to my source , I have to .. otherwise I would curse BW forever and wish their studio burn in flames and their games lose and suck every time .

or do what we did on "arrival", blow up a mass relay or two after we've lured reapers near them.
and kaboom, we lost 3 or 4 systems and relays but we got the reapers destroyed.
the plot device would be the something that would lure the reapers close enough for it to work.

People are too invested in the franchise. If BW were seeing thousands upon thousands of preorder cancels , they would be all over this. the fact is, that most people will buy and finish the game no matter what.

208 pages on a forum mean zip, zero, nada to BW. It's the bank account that matters. It's an ok game, they will make thier money back and then some. no harm , no foul.

Folks will complain, but they won't do so with thier wallets, which is exactly what bioware knows is true. If you want proof.....go look at swtor. the game is a steaming pile of gosa, but folks still sub and play it, hoping for something better down the line. ME3 is no different. Nor are the folks who buy into it.

Given the rumors about a possible Baldur's Gate remake, I all of a sudden became much more open to this series ending for good. When I look at the endings as the finale to the whole series, I can deal with them.

However money makes the world go round. If ME3 sells well, we'll see a four.

I think we're being BioTrolled.  This is the franchise final huraah and all this drama is Bioware's way of screwing with us.  Choice was this all important thing in the first 2 games, and now they drop it?

Xio's statments are most likely true as the mods didn't ban him.  However, I think the space edition is purposeley incomplete.  Or Xio is a BioTool trying to fire (at least 75% of) us up.  Wasn't there something about an NDA.  Anyway the pics, vids, and personal accounts are definitly legit.  But there may be more to it that we're not being told..

This is too conveinient to have all this info pop up in the last 48 hours.

My source is a friend of mine who has access to Eurogamer.net staff , he said that all the ending circulating around are obtained through rushing the SP campaign , or with no save import , and stated that you can get a better ending in which Shpeard survives and continue to wander the galaxy afterwards .

That's already been confirmed, one ending you can survive in epilogue.  No matter if you live or die though the game takes back right before the final battle to wander the galaxy for future DLC.

Your hope has been crushed, sorry.

I'm really surprised at you guys. All that whining... what did you expect? We had two games to build up the idea of Reapers, a race who apparently cannot be defeated. What did you expect? Walt Disney, happy end, a Michael Bay-like "oh it's cool, we defeated them because we are cool, no sacrifices because we are cool boom-boom-kaboom" style of ending?

Except this only brings about angry fans. People have cancelled their pre-orders over this. It, as a marketing strategy, is moronic at best.

I'd be ok if Shepard and the Normandy ended up together in some way.

But having the relays working and traveling the galaxy...? Very veeeery doubtful.

God How I hope this is true. That there will be a Day one update to the game to unlock the better endings... Or.. /something/. You know how when you put your disk in the console it tells you that there's an update for this title.. Something like that. Please let that be so.
