Hey, guys, maybe we don't need to flood them now with tons of letters, but instead compose a collective letter signed by everyone willing, stating that we want new endings, not a clarification to the old ones?

i looked at all the reviews i could get, anything below 80% i read and they did mention the endings were "terrible and full of plotholes" where as the ones above 90% i checked there names and saw they were all EA fanboys/girls or were once employeed by EA, you would be surprised at what you can find when you type in the RL name of a reviewer lol

Please, when it is confirmed they are working on a new ending... keep on holding the line but also try to motivate the developers than... they should have the feeling that we appreciate it and they don't need to rush and hasitate.
We all want quality work i guess... not something patchworked which is released in 2 weeks and it's just "meh" again!

I didn't see that article as good news. It seems to me that they are just digging in farther to defend the ending that was already given. I read the article as an attempt to defend their "artistic integrity" (never seen that phrase used so much before in my life before this). If that article describes the only thing that Bioware intends to do, then all we are going to see is an addition to explain the one ending we got, and nothing about multiple endings where choice matters.

According to several posts here on BSN, the controversy might only have slightly changed something if anything about EA's stock.

Furthermore, they had enough pre-orders and people liking the game enough for them to continue supporting it.

Also, I saw you mentioning something about visiting/contacting your local patent office. Do you assume we all live in the US, my fellow soldier?

Also, if you had access to the data, why not screenshot it?

Honestly not sure, at this point.  If this is what we want, maybe this needs to be our focus in places like the Facebook group.  We've had success with things like the letter-writing campaign and the donation drive.  Maybe trying to drive in the statement that we will not be satisfied with merely having plot holes expositioned away, that we want more options, is what we need to do next.  Maybe message the admin of the Facebook page, start organizing another twitter campaign - whatever we can do.

Probably a good idea...

First, I want to emphasize my belief that we are not "at war" with BioWare. Rather, BioWare has done such an AMAZING job with the Mass Effect series, that we care so much about the characters and choices we made is a testament to their success. We only hope that a solution can be reached where a future patch/DLC could help fix/change the ending to reflect the greatness of the entire Mass Effect series, while providing closure on Shepard's fate, love interest, crew, etc.

Agree with 90% of this, but I feel like we sort of need to drop the word 'closure' altogether.  Yes, we want an ending that provides that, but we don't want the sort of 'closure' that involves merely showing us more of the ending we already hate, 'until we like it'.  We want an ending that provides closure to start with - and that isn't any of the endings we've been given to start with.  That means a different ending.

If I haven't received a satisfactory response of the level: "We will be redoing/completing/finishing/fixing the ending", I'll be returning my copy of Mass Effect 3. If they decide, after that, that they want to come out with a definitive answer I'll repurchase it along with the online pass code (which should be right about the same price with the current plummet in price).

Seriously, if this is the best Bioware can do after the DA2 and (partially) SWOTOR debacle, then ME3 is going to be the last game I will ever buy from Bioware. Loyal fanbase is what made the ME franchise great, ignoring fan's feedback will hurt DLC/upcoming game sales.

Yeah they started dropping almost immediately after the backlash started.   They shipped 3 million copies and, to date, I don't think they've sold more than 2 million.. Retailers don't want to keep video game stock, there will be backlash from them too, against both the reviewers and Bioware/EA if this isn't resolved.

Microsoft's Store had it listed at $60 but if you put it in your cart it would drop to $40 with free shipping.. pretty significant drop there

The critics only play it one time, then they move on to the next game they have to play. Weird how all the major titles get 85+

MW3 had horrible graphics and IGN gave graphics 8.5/10.

Can anyone think of another game where the buildup is so amazing and the ending is such a letdown? I like/love 99% of Mass Effect 3. Fallout 3 maybe? But those Bethseda games are entirely different animals all together. You don't even have to play the story.
