WE HAVE NOT WON ANYTHING YET!
There has been no confirmation of anything, IGN story should be taken with a pinch of salt until we hear something from Bioware, please do not set yourselves up for disappointment!
Granted it's not offcial but they pretty much spell it out. I can't see any other interpretation of the Bio-Ware statement.
What is spelled out in that annoucement? He didn't say anything other than "we are taking your feedback, please wait". There is no confirmation of anything at all. He said that Bioware will be looking into the future of the franchise in the next year, but it doesn't mean they will change the ending. Perhaps is a new game, perhaps are new pre-ending DLC.
I agree and support the OP. This is most likely a PR stunt, a diversionary measure taken to divide us, to quiet us so we can go meekly back to our lives and forget about this.
NOTHING SHORT OF A CLEAR AND ACCURATE PUBLIC ANNOUCEMENTE WILL DO...
Remember my friends and comrades how much they told us about the game before launch. Remember how the choices would matter, how we would have 16 different endings, and so much more. And those were all lies, since they never meant to implement that in ME3.
Considering how they have lied to us in the past, can you actually believe in anything they say without hard evidence?

Dead lord... It has been on no less then 5 other gaming sites, a couple of which are pro retake so please relax. You guys are really starting to react in a negative light. Many of you are essentially trolling ray's statement. Stop it.
Did it spell out everything for you? No. Is it PR. Yes but dear god EVERYTHING is PR at this point.
But that is the point. PR just won't do it anymore. We have been trolled by them, called fools and children by them (and other less than civil names from some sites) and they still do not acknowledge us.
This announcement didn't admit to have anything wrong with the game. I only accepted that some fans needed further explanation, in other words, we are too stupid to understand what they meant. This is only a diversion measure as I said before. Bioware is just trying to appease us so we can stop complaining, and in the mean time gather support from sites and other sources by saying "we are trying, but the fans are not helping"..
We are not fans, we are not friends, and we are no supporters of Bioware. We are customers and as customers we were fooled by their pre launch advertising. If we can't complaing about their mismanagement (don't want to call it what it really is) what are we supposed to do? To shut up and keep buying whatever piece of "art" the throw at us because buying their product is all we are "entitled" to do?
Back to the line people...
