So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Official confirmation contentt o explain the ending will be added.
"Building on their research, Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are
hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help
answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further
closure to their journey. You’ll hear more on this in April. We’re
working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic
integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we’ve
received."
Guess they are not adding new endings, just explaining what is there. I don't know what to think. I am happy, but I am scared to say I am finding it difficult to trust them. They sounds so....defensive...about the ending, which was very obviously lacking.

I apologize if this has been posted already, but whoever did this interview did a good job answering the questions. Well done, mate:

7. Do you support reporting Bioware to the FTC or other organizations in an attempt to bring about a lawsuit?
No. The Retake movement isn’t here to attack anyone. Bioware has given us some amazing games, and we love them for that. While it’s hard to support them given how this ending has hurt so many fans we can at least show them the respect they deserve and confront them AS their fans. Not a horde of angry individuals who just want to lash out in any way possible. We need Bioware on OUR side if we ever want our goals realized. Antagonizing them wont get us that.

From now until the end of time making an abrupt ending (preferebly also really bad and cliche in itself) totally disjointed from the journey might be referred to as "Pulling a Mass Effect"
Or "Pulling a Bioware".
Either works, really.
This is going to become a real phrase too <_< I know I will use it and they could have avoided all of this by simply admitting the mistake and changed it. No one would really be talking about how bad the ending was and would be saying things like "Bioware made a mistake but they listened to their fans and are changing it. They are the best" Now they really wont be hearing that

I think we might try to start up a simple site, but each of us sings it with their username on BSN and (optional) real name. Sort of a memorial wall like you find on the crew deck on the Normandy.
If this idea gets an okay, it's imperative that each and everyone of us signs it and does not double-sign under another alias.
Or we could do something simple, like you see at the bottom of this page (where the BioWare moderators are listed), just a long-running list of all the nicknames who formally endorse the Retake movement.
I like that but not just yet...
We should remain active in giving Bioware polite and constructive feedback and holding the line.

DON'T.
Continue to do what you did when page count was at 1k. We have to hold the line. Really. Right now the line doesn't look as good as it did a few days ago. Get urself together and HOLD THAT LINE!

Make sure to vote. If most people say they want additional new endings rather than a mere explanation, Bioware might take notice.

It's called pride, and they just don't want to admit it.
And on a side note, I love Forbes. <3

Not quite. Just "not necessarily." They aren't saying yes, and they aren't saying no at the moment, though it does look more like "no" than "yes."

this is also PR (as is everything).....initially, before release, they over promised and under produced.....they are all now giving little bits to keep enthusiams there, but tempered and want to be able to say (at PAX) here's the big fix, it's exactly what you wanted...

What scares me most is seeing what Biowares comes up with in DLC's/patch.
If they stick to godchild/normandy leaving/Shep dying and only give us "explanation" then they lost one paying customer.

Also, if you're going to just add a new part to the end, maybe one that makes the actual ending a dream sequence, you are not altering anything, just adding. So the twitter post doesn't mean anything. As usual.
