Bullet point #4, Second paragraph, First sentence

She states she is advocating not supporting, in others words willing to listen and pass on discussions by Retake.

Anyway, I'm of the opinion shes had enough of the stuff that's been thrown at her, in her own words, attacks are more noteable than civil discussion.

While I wouldn't claim to have monitored all communication with her is this more down to her perception of a large mass of people clamoring for answers from the only source of information rather than actual 'attacks'? Certainly it would be intimidating, although clearly unintentional. On an individual basis fans have a desire to ask questions due to a lack of quality information and interaction thus far. When an opportunity arises to speak with a BioWare employee on a more interactive basis a stampede is somewhat inevitable...

Look at a coin. There are two sides to it. One differ from the other.
Mass effect 3 has two sides as well those who expect better and want to see that it gets to do exactly that. And those who are fine with what they have and see no reason for change.
Keep in mind though at least those who voice their opinions  on the things wrong can back them up without resorting to name calling or having some holier or high and mighty attitude about it.

Someone needs to be denounced from their high horse.

I read it all, I agree. Just a bit of criticism in response, say "Those who expect more" or "Those who expect different". Because saying that one side expects "better" puts a negative connotation on the other side. Not saying I understand their reasoning entirely, but I think it would be false of us to say that we want better(when others apparently see their side as being good).

I want to believe this sooo much.  But taking with a grain of salt

If they did have this amazing stuff in the works, at this point wouldnt it make sense to announce it and stop the bleeding?

Yes. Actually, why won't they just release a paid full dlc with alternative endings? They will make profit and shut 90% of us.
This is just starting to annoy me so much.
It's not like we're advocating for free stuff; sure, it would be amazing if it were free, but if it isn't, I'm pretty sure a lot of us will still get it (I know I will). It really isn't that big of a deal...we don't want to delete current endings, we just want to add more endings.
We're not being childish, we just want what we were promised...we don't want a freaking explanation, we just want plotholes to go away and to have more options...:crying:

Ok, I'm done ranting. Time to go do some community service.

SSV Auckland Reporting for duty.

So from what I have gathered, co-founder of Bioware has said something (which I will read in a second) and I know Jessica Merizan has said she isn't going to talk about Bioware on her Twitter, which in my opinion is fine. It is her PERSONAL twitter after all, she shouldn't really have to deal with all the question on her own time, it was nice of her to do so when she was doing it though.

Anything else happen in the last 11 hours or so?

Holding the line!

I loved Thane too. But I like that his dead ment something and changed the Galaxy for good not like Shepard for the worst.

Thane Krios is born. :crying:

I love his voice. I was sad that they seemed to drop the ball with his romance in 3 but he had (imo) one of the most poignant deaths. I still tear up about it. I was a little miffed that Kolyat seemed to think I'd forgotten about him. Even though Thane wasn't a part of the endings and I could flashback to him or anything, he was one of the most memorable characters to me.

I remember during his loyalty mission that prayer he does and then vanishes into the crowd, Drell Ezio

I'm definitely going to write about Dr. Muzyka's letter later, but I kinda want a night off from these boards. Just one! It's a quick vacation.

The long and short of it is this: If they really have integrity as artists then they should be capable of withstanding ALL forms of criticism, and if there is consensus in the criticism that is not the result of a direct goal of what they were going for, and they feel they should not listen to this criticism or that their work cannot withstand the criticism, then they do not have integrity as artists.

This is a separate issue to the blatant marketing lies. Which were, as we all are well aware in this movement, blatant lies.

Ah. I go away for a week to deal with real life commitments to come back and find out we've advanced?! Great job guys, proud of you all for the hard work you've put in. Australian SF reporting to re-bolster the line. Just remember keep things civil, keep striving hard for what we believe in and only good things can come (At least that's what I like to believe) Hold that line!

That's what I get for posting on my phone.^_^ You are correct thought. We did expect different from a company that has done nothing but deliver on their other titles. So that was bad choice of words.

We expected different than what we got.

Those who attack us and want the ending(s) to be as they are, are simply drama queens. Drama queen will always smell a good cause and for some god knows what reason will try to ruin it by talking BS.

Ignore them. When the day is over they cant stand looking at themselves in the mirror. We can.

Actually, I'm with you and I think that might be one of the reasons it would be an ending with more closure than the current one. Sure it leaves it open, but at least Joker's not making a break for it after Scotty beams them up to the USS Ent... err Normandy.

I have been following everything for awhile now, I wouldn't mind some slides at the end, like DA:O that covers what happened to the galaxy and my friends and crew would be great for me. I don't new endings but expanding on the endings would work nicely. Glad to see BioWare is listening to its fans and hopefully everyone on both sides can learn from this experience. Cannot wait to find out what the next game from BioWare will be after ME3.

lol yes maybe, but i never expected my shep to survive, for me that was the end of the story, a little like javik said, paying tribute to the lost friends and rejoigning them in the grave/retiring in a monastery lol There was nothing more for her after this battle. That was like that i saw "my" good end. Or at least one of the good lol

Just saying, I think you're right and I'd call it "better". But if you're going to call people out to speak their mind, would be best not to put them into the mood to rant :P Well written though, definitely good for doing it on a phone!

Alright, signing off for now folks.

I'm going to struggle to get further in my ME playthrough where I sacrifice Kaidan and kill Wrex. (I could never stand Ashley but if I'm going to slog through again, I may as well bring someone that will give dialogue I haven't seen before) followed by some Minecraft. I'll check back in a few hours.

Hold the Line and remember to uphold the standards of the movement. =)
