This is fascinating. It makes it clear that the absolute dissatisfaction that we all have toward the endings wasn't concocted by some mythical internet hate machine... we all arrived at the same conclusions independently. Because the endings are awful.

It's kind of creepy. This exact scene has played out in exactly the same way in tens of thousands of homes around the world in the past couple of weeks. And in every case, the player walked away a husk.
